The service at the location here is below zero stars, and if I could give a negative rating I would. I came in with a group of friends around 12:00am on March 3 to order some cookies after a night out. The workers made fun of one of my friends laughing and told him not to laugh like that again. They then proceeded to talk to a group of two other paying women asking them if they heard my friend laugh like that too. This is unacceptable behavior and not a way to treat any human being, let alone paying customers who are supporting the business that you work at. Both workers were extremely unprofessional and also showcased slow service when making my ice cream sandwich too. This location on 1st street has a poor atmosphere exacerbated by a lack of service standards. The cookies, brownies, and ice cream sandwiches are average quality and overpriced. If you have a craving for late night cookies, brownies, or ice cream sandwiches, I would recommend steering clear of this place and giving your money to CREAM across the street.

Insomnia Cookies has been on my list for a while. I finally had a chance to try some out of boredom. The first time I ordered cookies from here, they were really good and baked perfectly. The second time I came here, the cookies were overbaked. Hard around the edges. It's hit or miss, I guess. I do like that they have simple/basic cookie flavors in standard cookie size. If you're into that, then this is the place for you. $16 for 6 cookies is a bit pricey, though, so I will not make this a regular thing. They do the job. I don't care to bake cookies at home when I'm craving.

As I said in my previous reviews "The Dunkin' Donuts of the cookie world!" It's not a terrible place, and the cookies were okay, but the Dunkin' Donuts comment is not a compliment. They have that classic young person working there, who btw was much nicer than the one in SF and gets one more star just for her positive attitude. I will continue to add Insomnia Cookie to my "in a pinch" and "there's nothing else open" category, right next to Mcdonald's and, of course, my Duncan Donuts list. BB

AMAZING spot. We ordered cookies from here for a staff birthday and they did not disappoint. I think it's important to mention that they have ample vegan options and even a gluten-free/vegan chocolate chip cookie. I'd highly recommend them, especially if you're looking for something sweet for a bigger group. I haven't been to the actual place of business, but hope to visit soon.
I never knew about this business until recently their ads pop up on my social media. I checked out their website and downloaded the app. I was very skeptical ordering from the app, but actually it was very smooth ordering. I didn't see the reviews from the App store, until after I placed the order. The reviews for their app had a lot of ordering problems, but I've no problem ordering. In fact I ordered about 3 times already this week because of how convenient it was for me and the cookies are very delicious. I ordered probably all on their menu except the vegan ones. The vegan birthday cake was actually pretty good. I would say if you ordered on a weekday M-Thursday, the delivery is faster. They will receive your order and have a cookie driver start driving within 5 mins. I ordered twice after 9pm on Tuesday and Wednesday and the cookies arrive warm. My 3rd time was at 9:30pm on a friday. I didn't get my cookies until 11pm. My assumption was because it is a friday night (which is usually busy) so that's my experience. I really love their communication alerts through text. Even though I don't get to meet them in person, they drop off my cookies at the front door and let me know when it's been drop. Great customer service.

The gluten free cookie was warm and delicious! The not so gluten free ice cream was solid and alright. Portions are big here! Service was very friendly! I would def come here again for a cheap cookie fix. Thanks!

As someone who isn't fond of cookies, Insomnia cookies are pretty delish. They are very soft and not too sweet. I would get them as gifts for loved ones in the future.
