Shop has no posted hours on Yelp despite the owner engaging with reviews. I'm here on a Thirsty Thursday night (literally prime time in a college area) at 8PM and they're closed. Now a waste of time coming here. Oh well.

The restaurant has a nice 50ies-like atmosphere with good food and a great choice. Service was friendly and prices reasonable.

Convenient place to drop in but burgers are just okay. Fries not even average. The place has a fun ambience and capable staff.

Loving all these new boba shops popping up in San Jose. This is a cute shop located downtown within walking distance of SJSU. They've got their signature/set menu of drinks, but you also have the option to build your own here. You can always adjust your sweetness level, but if you are like me and don't like too much sweetness, the strawberry mango was really refreshing and perfect without any adjustments. *note: they sell the lotto here too.. who knows.. stop in for a drink and a lotto ticket... and you just might be the next millionaire.. lol

There was definitely a diabolical wave of impulsivity (K-I-D-D-I-N-G) for green tea one day; I had heard of I. Brew's opening on yelp. I was in the area riding my bike and dropped in to check this place out. She has a nice "rack". It's two-thousand-and -19' you can't talk like that Enso. This place is tiny beyond it's own core so I immediately knew I would take my drink to go. I saw only 2 tiny cafe tables and like 2 stools with no table. ah ha. I'm out! I got one matcha latte sanz-boba w/ almond milk for six dollars and 5 cents. I figured if I want to try something new I might as well try something new. Get it? Anyhow, I'm glad I got to try this place out and I love how murky and lotus'y a matcha latte elixer can be. I won't go out of my way to visit this shop, but I will show my kid and niece this place with it's cute lego-like mascot/character campaign. I always enjoy eating at a Johnny Rockets. It has at nostalgic feel. The staff were friendly. The music is great.

Tried three different tea twice there before coming to a conclusion about their tea. It feels very watery and very very lightly flavoured compared to other places I have tried.

InstaBrew is fairly new and it being small and in a random part of Downtown doesn't really help, but I will with this review. Half of this place is all lottery machine for some reason and the door is located to the left of it, which both were weird but ok. The cashier and only worker I think was nice. It's a nice bonus to have the 20% off if you are a student at SJSU. My drink the Strawberry Mango was pretty good. I didn't taste any mango but there was still flavor. 100% sweetness is actually the right amount this time for me. I'll give InstaBrew my support.

This place had good service. I built my own milk tea with no added flavors, along with 25 percent sugar and honey boba. The drink wasn't too sweet, so that was good. I also ordered an InstaBrew milk tea with boba and regular sugar, and it was great. They also offered 20 percent off for sjsu students, do i got 60 cents off each my teas

I'm a fan of their drinks! I love their Hong Kong Milk Tea and I always opt for their coffee jelly over their boba, which is a hit or miss. It can be really good and soft in the middle, or it can be hard in the center and too much honey coating. They are not too far from the SJ Convention Center so I like to walk right over here to grab a quick drink. I'd prefer this place over Boba bar because there's usually a long line there and who has the time to wait in line then wait again for your drinks. This place is quick yet good! They also have scratchers and board games.

Service was meh at best. When first approached the cashier, she was like "I'll be with you in a few min." There were only 4 other guests waiting for drinks, 2 people working. Doesn't appear they could keep up if there were more than 6 people.

Service was meh at best. When first approached the cashier, she was like "I'll be with you in a few min." There were only 4 other guests waiting for drinks, 2 people working. Doesn't appear they could keep up if there were more than 6 people. Asked what the Wifi pw was, was told one pw, tried it, told the cashier it didn't work. She responded "Then I don't know what the pw is". Like she didn't care at all. So then I asked for a refund which then prompted her to go to the manager and ask what the pw is. Then finally got a working password. $5 for a diluted tea and 1/8 cup of boba seems ridiculous. They charge extra for everything. $0.75 for milk, $0.50 for any toppings. On top of the base $4+ just for the tea. Boba is decent. No public restrooms. 3 tables available for seating for 10. More like a grab and go place. Overall service was non-caring so not clear what their differentiation is.

Nice little cute store with lottery machine. Ordered California sunset lemonade and lava flow smoothie. The lemonade is very pretty, tasty, refreshing on a hot day. It is fruity, sour but not overwhelming. The lava flow smoothie is ok.... it is more pina colada than strawberry, but also pleasant to cool off in the summer. One recommendation is to put the straw at the cashier station. The cashier is very attentive. He came out to give the drink to the guests. But every time he also point at the corner to let the guest to get the straw.

Finally, a boba place that is pretty good. I went to pretty much all the shops around. From boba bar, thirst tea, tea alley, and so on. Nothing was really good and because I am usually in the area, these are the only places to get something to drink. Thankfully Instabrew opened up! They are not too bad. I was actually surprised their 75% sweetness is similar 25% sweetness at other places. Which means 100% sweetness should be the base standard and you don't need to really change a thing aside from ice level. The place is quite small compared to the other boba shops but its more of me going in and getting my drink and then off I go. I don't need to really sit down. I wish they had some menu near the register instead of looking up on the monitors but that wasn't much of an issue. They also sell lotto tickets. Random. But hey, buy lotto, win, get more boba?!

Big, chew boba balls -- super satisfying. Tea is good but the tea flavor could be stronger. Sweeter than expected. I got a jasmine milk tea with 25% sugar and still pretty sweet !! Friend got a taro milk tea and loved it :)
