We came for a stand up comedy show. Ordered supper before the show.
My jerk chicken was delicious. It came with rice and beans plantains and a salad with cucumber.
Ordering is at a counter at the front. They call your name when it's ready. It was served in a compartmented resealable container. I took a little less than half home in the provided container.
A good experience.

Island Taste Caribbean Grill offers an exceptional dining experience. The food and service were outstanding, delivering authentic Caribbean flavors in every dish. The jerk chicken and oxtail were cooked to perfection!!, rich in taste and expertly prepared. The vibrant atmosphere, complemented by island inspired music, truly captured the spirit of the Caribbean. A must visit for anyone seeking genuine Caribbean cuisine!!

Yummy eats! Boyfriend took me here after a long day at work and both our dishes were so delicious. He ordered jerk chicken wings and I got the coconut chickpea curry and curry chicken patties ooowweeee! Satisfied my cravings and the portions are huge. Definitely our new spot 😊
Love this service and food. I had several cuisines for my son's high school graduation celebration and it was by far the crowd favorite, especially the oxtails, jerk chicken and oh that rasta pasta! Food was hot, fresh and on time for pick up, and everything was absolutely perfect. This will be my go-to for large event food orders.
I gave this 5 stars because of two reasons: the customer service and food quality.
Big shout out to Mike for staying 17min past closing to give me the food I ordered ahead! Like I was coming from Santa Cruz and by the time I were to get to the restaurant it’d been closed but I called ahead and asked if I can order ahead and have them wait minutes after closing and Mike said yes. The food was still warm, tasted good and authentic. I appreciate it Mike!

The hostess was pleasant and explained the menu choices well. They offer complimentary lemon water while waiting. My sister had the lemonade and I enjoyed the hibiscus drink. The plantains and patties were a hit! I was disappointed in the plating of my food. The salad with vinaigrette mixed with the Rasta pasta, so I didn’t get to enjoy the different flavors on my plate much, except the Jerk Tofu which was phenomenal. My sister had the rice and it was cooked well, but her salad was also added with next to the rice so you got more of a vinegar taste. My suggestion is to serve the salad separately, but I would try it again if in the area.

Okay so I’m from NY and if you know NY you are never greeted you are asked weh yuh want. So let me tell you about this restaurant. The door was open and immediately I was greeted by everyone the cashier and the other employee who was in the front. Everyone was friendly and the aromas were mouth watering. I ordered two entrees because I wanted to try more than one thing. The wait wasn’t that long I occupied myself on my phone and when the cashier handed me my food I was like God Damn. It was soooo heavy! When I opened the tray I saw how large the portion was and it was perfect. The jerk chicken was seasoned to perfection. The plaintain and cabbage were tasty and the rice complimented the jerk chicken. The chicken was falling off the bone it was so juicy. I also ordered the Vegan Rasta Pasta with Jerk Tofu and I took one bite and was blown away. I also ordered a curry chicken patty was stuffed with flavor. I’d highly recommend going here.

Place was Jamaican, not Caribbean. Got a chicken gravy dish, which was too sweet. Only good thing was the pickles.

Got the bang bang fried pork and it was beyond dry and tasted like nothing, it was hardly edible. Early on a Friday night they were out of nearly everything on the menu and I could hear the staff fighting in the kitchen. The plantains were delicious though. The girl all the front desk was doing her best but was also on her phone the majority of the time I was there with either tech support or her boss. Very disappointed but I will come back and hopefully get to try the jerk chicken at some point since the reviews are good for that.

I’ve been dining at this restaurant for about a year, and the food is consistently amazing. The fried goat meat my favorite is always perfectly seasoned. If you’re craving the island flavors of Haitian and Jamaican cuisine, this is the place to go. Support this local gem and treat yourself to some truly delicious food.
