Matcha ice cream was just average. Nothing special. Definitely nothing to brag about. Not creamy, not flavorful. Haagen Dazs green tea ice cream is so much better!Service was terrible. A stupid machine to take your order and the girl behind the counter was just rude! And they expected a default tip on the machine. I don't think so! No customer service. No tip!I would not recommend this place! Will not go here again!

We had the following:Crème Brulee Matcha Swirl $9.95 (w/ a topping)Classic Honey Matcha Latte $7.45Ice Cream In Cup $5.5Service was quick.First two items tasted mediocre. That last item wasn’t worth 5.50. It was the size of a cone at McD. Altogether, not worth it.Entire establishment had only one trash bin.No access to restroom for customers.First time, last time.

3.5 stars / 5 stars.I first discovered this place earlier 2023 and was so obsessed and a HUGE fan of their drinks that I came almost every other week lol. My main go-to drinks were the hojicha latte, matcha honey latte, and their creme brûlée matcha. However, something changed in their business since the last few times I've gone. The drinks tasted a little different and overall feel was more of a grab-and-go/quick service style shop. The creme brûlée matcha was a lot sweeter and the puff cream was more chunky instead of mixing in smoothly with the drink (for that creamy texture). The other drinks also don't have as strong of a matcha flavor. You order at a self-service kiosk and there is 1 person in the back making drinks. This isn't the type of place you'd come with friends to chill and catch up since there are limited seats. Overall, I do like this place but had to knock my rating down with some of the changes.

really sad to say this, but i came here like EVERYDAY during the summer and I always got the creme brulee matcha because it was GOOD. but now, they changed the creme brulee recipe or something bc the creme is like CHUNKY and very gritty. It feels like im eating grains with every sip. I thought maybe it was just a mistake, but i went back again with the same texture of the creme and it was SO disappointing. SO sad... it was one of me and my fams favorite drink.. I also recently got their taiyaki and the taiyaki was SEVERELY undercooked. It was so raw when served for all the pieces, I felt like I was eating play dough. The batter also had a sour aftertaste which was really hard to eat... So disappointing this was my fav matcha place

I have been coming to Izumi matcha ice cream since they opened over two years ago. Tonight I bought two ice cream and they both taste bad, like sour.. We talked to the girl at the counter. She mentioned something about machine getting clean tomorrow. Then she said that the milk hasn't expired and that she doesn't think it tastes bad.We gave her back the two matcha ice creams. Milk does not have to be expired but not keeping the milk or ice cream well refrigerated will get spoiled and therefore bad.She didn't even offer to return the money and we didn't bother asking for it.I know they open one recently in Cupertino. Will try to get health department to look into their refligerator and procedure in keeping everything well. This is bad customer service and definitely not returning to this place anymore.

As someone who loves matcha, I was super excited to dry the drinks and desserts here. So far, I have tried the lychee matcha, white peach matcha, honey hojicha latte, and the matcha soft serve. Everything was soooo yummy. The lychee matcha is my favorite out of the fruit matcha drinks. The honey hojicha was the perfect sweetness and earthiness. My mom got the soft serve, so I stole a bite, the matcha flavor was there. You order at a kiosk and the drinks are placed on the counter for you to grab once they're done making them. Inside, there is limited seating, but there is plenty of space for you to wait for your order. Parking can be a pain in the plaza, but if you don't come during peak hours, it shouldn't be too bad. Will be returning soon to try the other drinks I've been wanting to try!

I've been wanting to try Izumi and serendipitously found that it was in the same plaza I was grabbing lunch at so I figured I'd stop by.I ordered the Kuro Sesame Hojicha Latte drink and my sister bought a Cheese Mousse Matcha Tea. My sister said the matcha wasn't too sweet and the cheese was good so if you're into cheese tops, perhaps this could be up your alley. As for me, the hojicha latte had a lovely black sesame aroma and the hojicha flavor was earthy and not too overpowering. The drink has a great balance of tea and sesame flavor and was nice and creamy overall. I did it get with oat milk which costed extra. I would love to try the other drinks and ice cream another time but it's definitely a treat once in a while given the slightly higher price.

Small but lively place that serves premium matcha teas, ice cream, lattes, shakes, and fruit drinks. Plethora of combinations. I love the black sesame. They have taiyaki but only served in a 2-pack or 5-pack. What if I only wanted 1? They have limited seating and the parking here is always a bit intense. Not much to comment on with service since there was practically no interaction. You order at a kiosk and they leave your order at the counter when it's ready.3 stars because there's a dessert/tea/snack shop in every plaza these days.

3.5/5 starsI came here after my dentist appointment to try out their matcha ice cream! I was going to try their lattes but I've had too much matcha lately so I'll come again another day! Parking here is crowded and tight so make sure to come in when lunch and dinner rushes aren't happening! The store is quite small with some seating arrangements and a bench along the wall so customers can wait for their order. There's a self-order Kiosk and a shelf with matcha powder and whisks if you would like to purchase your own supplies. Today I ordered matcha soft swerve ice cream with rainbow mochi and a Pocky stick in it! I can definitely taste the matcha in the ice cream! It satisfied my matcha craving, however, the portion was small for my liking for the price and I prefer Somi Somi. It was a nice place to stop by!

In general, their matcha drinks and ice cream are decent, better than most milk tea stores but not as good as I expect. This is what I've tried:- Matcha ice cream: very smooth and creamy. Has decent matcha flavor but not strong enough for me.- Cream mouse matcha latte: I added the extra matcha shot and boba too. Their normal sweetness is not overly sweet so I'm happy with that. Boba isn't soft enough. I felt the drink is just okay.- Cream brulee matcha swirl: it's not overly sweet. It's even less strong matcha flavor than Cream mousse matcha latte but it's pretty good all together- very creamy, rich and yummy.I would come back for the Cream brulee matcha swirl but I don't expect much from other matcha drinks.Service is okay. We didn't interact much with the employees.

I love coming here for the Matcha soft serve. Swirled with the hojicha or ube? Even better! They recently added some indoor seating which makes this a great spot to stop and enjoy some delicious drinks or frozen treats. You order via a self service kiosk, so it's super quick and easy. Order comes out within 5 mins and it's usually not too busy :)Highly recommend for all your matcha cravings
