I like the crispiness of the seafood pancake, but there is almost no kimchi flavor. The pork bone pot was a bit fishy, so I ate one piece and gave the rest to my husband, who is not sensitive to fishy smells. The food was served quite slowly...there weren't many people in the store. Maybe the dish I ordered this time is not right for me.

Love the modern esthetic of this restaurant including the k pop playlist. We tried the ginseng chicken soup and kahlbijim! Both were 10/10. Would definitely come again.

Overall, the food is good here but I don't think I would need to come back.

Seafood pancake was thick, crunchy and can be shared with a group of 4 or more. For how much you got, there wasn't enough sauce to dip it in.

Grilled mackerel was my favorite. It wasn't too salty, crispy on the outside, and had good flavor. I was just disappointed that our plate was taken away, which still had a small piece left and wasn't asked if we were done with it.

We got the army stew and it was on the saltier side, which then got saltier once the broth dried up from the stove. It was spicy and had a nice kick. Flavor was good but it was just really salty. The small size was enough for a group of 4.

This doesn't feel like an authentic Korean restaurant. They don't see any alcohol like soju. Parking in this plaza can get crazy. With that said, I wouldn't make the extra effort in coming here.

Jeonju in San Jose was a great experience on a cold fall night. The location has easy parking, a clean interior and the service was quick. We ordered the bibimbap, tofu soup and hot stone ribs. The ribs were the highlight of the meal and fell off the bone, while also having a satisfyingly mild sauce. Come hungry as the portions are large.

This place was absolutely delicious. I'll definitely be coming back! I enjoyed their tofu soup, bibimbap, seafood pancake, banchan and all the variety of options they had.

The most unauthentic Korean food I’ve ever had and and everything tasted very bad.

Ginseng chicken soup is supposed to have sticky rice inside the chicken, but their chicken had regular rice instead of sticky rice inside (so it’s basically just a weird 국밥, not 삼계탕), and the chicken also looked very pink, so not all the way cooked. The texture and color of the soup also looked weird.

The soon tofu tasted very fishy, much fishier than normal seafood soon tofu. And it has imitation crab in it! Why would you put imitation crab in Soon Tofu?

The bibimbap and seafood pancake were just acceptable. Not bad, but also not good either.

Their Galbi was fine - it was probably the most normal dish we had among the five dishes we ordered.

We ended up not being able to eat the Genseng chicken soup and the soon tofu at all because of how bad they tasted.

All five of us were very confused why this place has such high ratings.
