I’ve tried a variety of hot chicken restaurants here in the Bay Area and some elsewhere around the country and this place tops the list! I personally recommend getting the mild seasoning for a more pleasurable eating experience as it is the perfect blend of spice and sweetness! The chicken itself is so juicy and tender, they’ve definitely got their frying techniques mastered so it comes out perfect.

Upon a recommendation from a local hotel staff member, I tried this chicken place in town. Got a chicken sandwich set meal with Jojo’s medium spicy level and sweet potato fries. Wanted unsweet tea, but unavailable. Owner offered other beverages, but I declined, no problem as I had iced tea in the hotel room fridge. Chicken sandwich was perfect. I'm sorry but I'm very disappointed with the food. Based on all other reviews maybe it was a bad day when I got it but still that's what I got. The chicken was soggy and the fried batter on the outside just came off. The sauce was pretty good but nothing else stood out for me even the fries. I have tried a lot of different fried chicken places and unfortunately this didn't work for me. This was on Friday July 18th, maybe it's just a bad day for the truck....
