This place has gone downhill over the years. Portions are a lot smaller and the quality isn't great. I'm no longer a fan, especially since there are quite a few better Peruvian options in the area.

Ordered the anticucho and lomo saltado. The anticucho was pretty tender. Fries were soft inside. The steak in the lomo wasn't very tender, but it wasn't hard to chew. Sauce was very flavorful. I just wish the portions were a bit bigger for how much you pay. It is a bit expensive. Food was good though.

Ordered the chicha and the chicken sandwich. The chicha was good but the sandwich just felt wrong. I'm one of those people that loves mayo on everything but the sandwich was a bland mayonnaise-y mess. The same could be said of the sauce that came with it. This isn't your place if you're looking for quality Peruvian food, unfortunately.

Very good food, we had Aji de Gallina and Antichuchos, unfortunately they weren't quite hot anymore. But the taste was TOP. The atmosphere is just a self-service food court.

The food is good but outrageously overpriced. I went to their menu online, which didn't list the prices. I ordered the lomo saltodo and figured it would be around $19 all said and done . Try $27! Yes I should have asked the price, but putting aside the sticker shock, let's evaluate it on its own merits. I've had $30 lomo saltodo. Does this hang? No. Basic fast food quality fries. Plain rice. Decent beef. Again, it's pretty good but this is not a reasonable price. The portions are also a bit scant. If this was like 2.5 meals worth we'd have a different conversation but this is a smaller dinner. Honestly 2.5 stars but I'll round up because of social norms my parents engrained in me about being exceedingly polite.
As a Peruvian, I visited this restaurant to try their food. I ordered the ‘aguadito soup’, regular cebiche, and a traditional drink ‘chicha morada’. The soup was good and a very decent size, the cebiche wasn’t great and the chicha was ok but not amazing.

I ordered lunch from Jora. I orderedThe shrimp Causa and the Vegetarian empanadas. The shrimp Causa was okay. Granted, it was my first time trying a causa. I was very disappointed when I took a bite of the empanada and found that I was given the beef empanada. I don't eat beef. When I took it back to Jora they apologized and made me a new one quickly. I was disappointed that they didn't offer to give me a free beverage or some other compensation. The place was expensive and I don't think I'd eat here again.

Stopped by the market for lunch and decided to order from Jora - the chicken sandwich was slathered in mayo to the point it was so heavy and wet, and the chicken was void of flavor or any spices. It was very disappointing and not at all what I was expecting for a $15 sandwich that was essentially plain, shredded chicken in a ton of mayo.
