Went in on a whim while looking for dinner. Ended up not eating there but did get a taiyaki. It was delicious. It came out crispy and hot, the red bean paste was not too sweet and perfectly complemented the bread. Very much worth the price. The only thing I would say to the restaurant is that when I entered there were two cashiers and both looked very excited to see a customer. It is great people are enthusiastic, but it was a bit off-putting but that could also just be me so I am not letting it affect the rating.

This is a very nice place to have a snack, they have three different flavors of butter mochi and full meals as well as snacks, ice cream, and pastries. Even beer.Their spicy mayo isn't just mayo with sriracha mixed in, it's far better than the mayo+sriracha I make at home.As a bonus, they have the best cherry tree on the street out front, it's blossoming like crazy this time of year.

My go to place for ice cream that you can bite into. Reliably has green tea ice cream and the only place I know of San Jose that will often have lavender ice cream.

My favorite restaurant in Japantown! I love their sushi burritos, especially the "Summer" filling. The butter mochi is yummy and they have a variety of flavors on rotation. They have a solid and diverse menu, lots to choose from.

Vegetarian options: The vegetarian sushi burrito has a great combination of fillings (not just basic cucumber) and has gotten great reviews from my vegetarian friend.

I had better sushi at grocery stores, I could give two start if I could finish it

I ordered the salmon cucumber avocado sushiritto and a side of miso soup. The roll had some edamame and pickled ginger in it too! Came in person on a Wednesday at lunch time, it wasn’t busy at all. Nice fresh ingredients, wish there was more cucumber. I should have gotten a more vinegar-y dip instead of the unagi sauce, which got cloying after a few bites. Lots of salmon and avo in the roll!

First time having a Sushi Burritos. There are two vegetarian friendly burritos on the menu and I chose the Cali Ritos. Is a big sushi roll but in burritos shape. Give a try if you never had Japanese Burritos. I believe you won’t found it in Japan.

JT Express Hit the spot. We had been wanting to try for some time and finally did. They did not disappoint. We had their breakfast bowls and it was fantastic. You can’t go wrong with spam, rice, eggs, and tots. Everything was cooked perfect. The tots were nice and crunchy. Plenty of good comfort food. It was a great portion size as well. I’m so glad we found this. We will be back again!

Raspberry cheesecake is delicious.

The food was terrible! We went for lunch and ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box. The chicken we got was so old and dry. We got a refund and left. Save your time and go somewhere else.

We got the mochi ice cream, and it was tasty!

Shave ice is wonderful, although they are the only one in the area. Best choice is pink lemonade. Pomegranate flavor is least successful. Availability of Marianne's ice cream is also a huge plus especially if lemon or pom sorbet. Food is okay, usually get a katsu bentobox but it does take a while. Overall a great stop for a snack in Japantown.

Small shop, but has a huge menu, including things like sushi, bento boxes, shaved ice and ice cream. The kahlua pork sliders were some of the best sliders I've ever had. So she was fresh and my husband really like the spam musubi as well. We will be back!
