Great service, great food and portions. Chicken katsu is delicious. We've been here many many times. Both to dine in and for take out. It's wonderful and our favorite spot for weekly family meals.
Great budget-friendly AYCE sushi in San Jose!
Kakuna Sushi is always solid — I’ve already been three times. The Omakase Box with thick-cut sashimi, fresh uni, and scallop & roe rice is a must-order. Lobster Roll is amazing too. Fresh oysters, tasty grilled squid, and good appetizers overall.
Lots of parking, friendly staff, and perfect for casual group dinners!

Today we got some takeout of three specialty rolls and appetizer. Overall was really good quality, great size and overall it tasted really fresh. We definitely plan to go back, we frequently get the bentos but now we want to try more of their specialty rolls.
