Yummy bao.I passed this store many times when we were in this area and didn't stop by. This time, we stopped by based on my friends recommendation. This store specializes in many variates of steam bao. It's clean and very quiet. I have the combination bao and bbq bao. Both are yummy, but I prefer bbq pao. Bbq pao comes in 4 pieces. It is interesting that they use quill egg on the combination bao. The service was superb.

This place , I believed at first was overpriced. but after having a taste of what a steam bun should taste like I’ve change my mind. It is not like all the other steam buns. It doesn’t have the frozen heated up tastes of other places. I recommend this place for it is the best steam buns. There’s never a line because it’s a nice walked in Togo your food sort of place. Nothing fancy but they get the job done kinda place. The buns are warm with minced pork, my favorite sausage and hard boiled eggs. But they have a variety of buns from which you can choose from. I usually get the three minis for like $8.00 which was more than satisfying to the appetite.

Banh Bao Kim Loi used to be good But not anymore. The bun was dry and when asked, the owner blasted me out furiously. This is obnoxious and gross. Very bad vibe and terrible banh bao. Horrible service and low quality banh bao. I will never come back to this place and neither are all of my family and friends.

This has always been a staple growing up. I’m glad they haven’t changed. Customer service is very helpful and kind. My kids love the vanilla custard bun. Looking forward to coming back when I’m in town.

I used to love buying steamed pork buns and sweet custard buns here. They only sell buns here so you would expected that they are good. However, the last 2 times, they sold me old buns. The outer layer was dried, not moist. When I look at the filling inside, the boiled egg looked dried up as well. Sad to say that this place has gone downhill.
Great vanilla custard baos and interesting customer service. Workers here have good memory. I have been here probably 3 times and they recognized me when I came in again the 4th time.
Good taste but overpriced. Probably not coming back.
Expensive but taste nothing. Not recommended
The BEST Banh Baos I’ve ever had in the US! Hits the spot and tastes just like my favorite place in Vietnam! I always make sure to stop by here every time I’m in San Jose!
The special combination boa was huge with great filling. Unfortunately the outside dough was too dry and not smooth.Credit accepted, free parking lot

My friend stopped by here to get some Combination Bao that he really liked. I tried it and it was pretty good.
Banh bao was good
Tasty cake
It is the place to go for banh bao. They have the Viet pork buns with eggs, sausage and meat. They also have the custard and Chinese bbq pork ones. Price is reasonable. 4 for $10 mini or $5 for the big ones. Open during this pandemic for to go
