Pretty good food. Ordered an udon and teriyaki chicken donburi bowl. I wish the bowl had swapped the egg bits for pickled ginger, that would have added much more flavor. A little pricey and it’s all disposable utensils.

Came here for dinner on a Saturday night after some rock climbing. Luckily we put our name down right before a bunch of groups came and we got seated in a few minutes. Otherwise it was looking to be at least a 20 min wait. Ordering was through your phone. You also pay on your phone. Water is self serve. Food comes out on disposable plates. So turn around for tables can be pretty quick! They have their system nailed down. All the food came out quickly and it was all delicious. But oh my god the pork katsu. That first bite was heavenly and I will have to order it every single time! We all got a variety from karage to chicken katsu but the pork...always pork from now on. It was tender and just melted in my mouth. And the fry was perfectly crispy. I can't wait to come back!

More of a self service place and no frills - but the food is amazing!! People complain about the lack of sit down environment but I feel like it’s actually a great place for hanging out and eating some really amazing curry! The portion size is great too. Highly recommend!

One of more authentic Japanese home cooking cuisines. Chef probably worked for Gombei before as the dishes are very similar.

Katsu curry and the udon was good. There wasn’t a long wait around opening time on Sunday.

Food is great - I love the tempura dishes! I hope they'll get rid of plastic plates and self service for dine in some day :)

Pretty impressed by this restaurant's katsu curry! I got take-out on a Thursday evening. It wasn't too crowded - only 2-3 parties were dining in at the time. It's a pretty small, peaceful restaurant with a few tables inside and outdoor seating available as well. They seemed to be pretty busy with take-out orders. The cashier was very kind.I ordered a chicken katsu curry and it was ready in less than 10 minutes. Aside from the chicken katsu and curry (curry comes in separate container), they also included a side of salad, some mac salad, and some edamame. They also give pickled radish in a small container. I usually go for pork katsu, but the chicken katsu was delicious and more tender than I expected! The rice texture was good too, not too soggy and not too hard. Curry consistency was thick and not too watery, which I enjoyed. Overall I think the quality is really good here and I would definitely come back!

Kizuna is a solid Japanese spot in the area. The food is tasty, and what sets it apart is that it's affordable too. The menu offers a good range of Japanese food, and having gone to Japan recently, scratched a Japanese food itch. The place has a nice, simple vibe, and the prices won't break the bank. If you're looking for delicious and budget-friendly Japanese food, Kizuna is a great choice!

Hands down the best Katsu, Curry and Udon i've had. Hidden gem tucked away. order and pay through the barcode app and they deliver to your table. Service was friendly. food came out quick and hot. Dog friendly patio! Rya approves!

This is simply the best curry in the world!!!!!!!!I've been to many places in Japan, in the Bay, in other countries, but Kizuna is still the best by far. They have the best beef curry sauce, perfect consistency, and perfect seasoning.I just love it so much, I will never let them go out of business. My only suggestion is for them to go back to using regular plates, instead of disposable plates and utensils.

Got this with my family and gf on Wednesday. When you come in, you just find a table to sit at and order through a QR code. Water cups, napkins, and utensils were put out on a table in the middle for anyone to go up and grab. Each katsu curry was only about $16 per bowl and it was huge. We got the chicken katsu curry and katsu curry bowls. You can also tailor the spice level of the curry. We got the regular, spicy, and extra spicy levels. Beware that the spicy and extra spicy are more spicy than what you'd expect, I found it kinda hard to finish mine. Both were good, but I personally think the chicken was a lottt better. It was more juicy and tender than the pork katsu. The curry had really good flavor for the non spicy, and the spicy ones packed a punch.Great price, great portion size, and great flavor.

Sooooo flavorful! I've been to Japanese curry places from SF to the South Bay. They all satisfy your craving for a bowl of rice with a lot of curry sauce and a friend piece of protein. BUT, here at Kizuna everything part of that same dish has so much flavor. The curry has depth, the pork is light and crispy and finished just right! I will be back over and over!

STARS: 4.5MENU AND FOOD: Kizuna offers a variety of curry rice plates along with udon, donburi and bentos. SERVICE AND ATMOSPHERE: Service is quick and efficient. You scan to order at your table. Everything is self-service at the center of their dining room. Their indoor decor is plain and simple. They have both indoor and outdoor seating.PARKING: Located in a plaza, they have shared parking.IMPRESSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS: We had their katsu curry with a side of fried shrimp and tempura udon. All were delicious and I appreciate their curry being served in a separate container. And, although their shrimp only comes with 3 pieces per order, the shrimps are thick! Our only complaint is that adding spicy to the curry is an additional $2-3, but we will definitely be back!
