THE best chicken. Period. DO NOT get the "churros". No flavor, not sweet enough, and a strange spicy finish. Not befitting of a place with otherwise great fried food. I got duped thinking it was as good as their chicken. They need to discontinue the churros. Bring back the apple pie.

I've been here a few times, but first time reviewing. KKC is located in the Circle K Mart at the Valero gas station. The fried chicken is moist, crispy, slightly salty, and has a slight kick. The biscuits are dangerously good. Sometimes, they carry blueberry biscuits, too. The sides are pretty good as well, like the red beans and rice and Jambalaya. Service is nice and friendly.

I can't believe I am giving food you buy from a gas station even four stars, but I am. Believe the hype - the fried chicken is easier as good or better than the usual competition--the seasoning is somehow more flavorful. We'll stop by here to get the chicken for a quick dinner instead of the more well-known name chicken across the street. Plus, the gace prices are food!
Oh this place is great! It's my go to spot for fast, fried chicken after picking up my hangry children from school. Their chicken is moist on the inside and KRUNCHY on the outside! The seasoning (Cajun?) is amazing and it really shines. They have other food as well but I only tried their fried chicken. It's inside a convenience store so you can shop for your go-to snacks or drinks while getting yummy chicken. Customer service is great! I believe the owners are filipino so you know you will be treated with hospitality. Side of sauce is extra but they always give hot sauce. Parking could be somewhat problematic but I always go on a weekday when it's not busy.

My rating is based on their chicken sandwich only. The bread was not as good as the other reviews made it sound. The chicken itself was just ok. Perhaps their fried chicken is amazing, but the sando was mediocre. I much prefer a Popeyes sando

KKC is pretty good fried chix, especially for chix sold out of a gas station. When you get it from this particular location, its always fresh & hot, with an ultra crisp crust, & juicy & tender interior. Service is sooo friendly, polite & quick. The negatives are that its quite salty - a lot of reviewers seem to think that the chicken is seasoned perfectly (are they referring only to the spices but excluding the salt?), but the salt level really gets to me. Its certainly saltier to me than KFC, Popeyes or Jollibee. Pro-tip - get the chix breast over dark or wings so there's a better ratio of super salty batter to meat. Also, enjoy it with a side of rice or potatoes to temper that saltiness & you should be ok!

Would I say it's the best chicken I've ever had? No but it was good, seasoned well and crispy. Red beans and rice were good as well as the biscuits. Definitely beats out the other chicken places in the area. Service was fast. The only drawback you're at a gas station so no place to sit down and eat, of course it's handy if you are in need of gas. If I'm in that area again I will probably go there.

We ordered mixed, breast, thigh, leg and wing. The coating was crunch with a bit spice to it. The breast cooked perfectly, juicy inside and crunch outside. The other parts of chicken were also good.We had Mac and cheese, very delicious. The bisque is good on first day, it does not taste good pre-heat the next day. Will do it again.

I used to get this chicken at Tracy before they open this location. Since I knew this location, I usually go here for chicken. The staffs are super friendly and the chicken is better than KFC for me. I went there today to pick up some wings and somehow someone accidentally took my order. The staffs there were so sorry and decided to gave me some free wings. 10/10 for the staffs
