Have tried both the new and original. I have to say it's completely major difference im service, quality and atmosphere. The new is just way better. Only plus of the original place (this one) is there is no long hour wait ofc. Wonder way.

Loved the Thai Milk Tea. Food was good. I had chicken satay appetizer, which was delicious. I also had a wonton with crab soup. I thought it would be crab filled wontons but it was regular wontons with a chunk of shredded crab in the middle. I would have liked it a lot better without the crab. My bad. Service wasn't that great.

This place is just amazing! The food is made with love and the staff are always so friendly. Some dishes are on the pricier side but nonetheless I will always come back!

I'm going to say something some people may disagree with but longtime regulars will understand. The original Krung Thai may not be as big, as fancy, or as busy as the newer location, but the food here has always had more flavor and depth to me. Both locations are good, but if you can't get into the newer spot (or don't feel like waiting), I would 100% recommend coming to the original.

The vibe is casual, relaxed, and very family-oriented. It's perfect for a low-key meal by yourself, with friends, or with a big family group. For a date night, the newer location might feel more fitting, but for pure flavor, this original spot still stands out. It doesn't offer fancy fusion items like the sister restaurant. When both restaurants first opened years ago, this is the one I preferred, now I'm flexible to either, depending on who I'm dining with.

The food is consistently delicious. Everyone I've introduced to it has really enjoyed the dishes too.

Parking is actually very easy, there's a lot in the back, plus street parking out front, all free. And the service has always been what you'd expect from a classic Thai restaurant: quick, friendly, and reliable.

I don't have photos to post because I've been coming here so long that all my old pictures are buried somewhere in my camera roll. But trust me, if you want great Thai comfort food without the crowd or the wait, the original Krung Thai is a solid, comforting choice.

Highly recommend.

The restaurant is showing its age. The food was terrific and so was the service. Our friend we went with has been going here for almost 20 years.

Eating at Krung Thai was delicious, however, the lack of music was awkward and disturbing. It felt like enjoying my rally good Yam woon sen at a funeral, sadly....

Food server worst in memory. We were 3 adults, dinner. 1 shared soup & 3 entrees. Waiter twice tried to remove an entree plate while that guest was still eating from the plate. He was scowling both times- limited eye contact. When a guest ordered tea, he asked 'how many?' To minimize any language problem, I raised my index finger. He brought 3 cups.

The ewe noodles has good texture, but were greasy. The chicken pad Thai tasted lijevit had been sitting for awhile. We've eaten here occasionally over last decade. Are they going out if business? Poor experience, overall

I’ve always enjoyed my experiences at the New Krungthai location, where the portions are generous and the food is flavorful. However, my visit to the original Krungthai restaurant tonight was unfortunately very disappointing. The portion sizes were surprisingly small, and the dishes lacked the quality and taste I expected. I spent nearly $100 on dinner, but the value felt closer to $10. Considering the contrast between this and the newer location, it’s clear why business here seems slower. I truly hope the management takes steps to improve the food quality and portion sizes to meet the standard that many of us know Krungthai is capable of delivering.
