DO NOT ORDER HERE! The food was atrocious! Burnt Musubi, over peppered katsu and watery katsu sauce. Don't go here spend your money where they care. Go to a different L&L place their customer service is garbage at best. The staff don't care there when I called to complain they were rude. Who the hell finds that acceptable see the picture. I would fire the cook because he is rude and well can't cook. If I was the manager here I would be embarrassed.

Yeah so my buddy and I walked in and some lady working the counter on Nov, 15th was on her phone the entire minute my friend and I wanted to order. Also this place smelled really bad this day like very humid and nasty. We just left due to her being rude and not acknowledging us.

I went Friday 8/17/23 and the service was great. The woman taking orders was friendly and very efficient... wow! I ordered the BBQ and Chicken & fried fish combo for abt $16 and it was cooked perfectly. Nice portions. More than I can eat in one sitting so I made two meals out of it. The place is just simple table and chairs, but serves its purpose.
The food or the quality in not the issue. The one star is solely for Maria. As others have previously mentioned she really does not demonstrate basic customer service skills. The other dude mid aged guy is super cool and is always in a good mood an always recognizes me and my family since we frequent often.You can always count on this crude to be rude and unethically charging for simple items that should be included. This thing really wanted to not only charge me for an extra bag after I mentioned the bag was completely packed. I wanted a separate bag to place my sauces in so they would not spill out. On top of that she really wanted to charge for a cup of water??? Sounds like Maria feels like the boss at the establishment since she likes to dictate what she can charge for. When I paid for the bag I asked her to itemize it on the receipt and she declined to do so... odd. Every time i call in to place my order and I'm 20 mins out this lady never has my food ready.. what is the purpose of placing an order ahead of time when customers that arrive before are given their meals prior to me. My advise to all is to avoid the place if this crude lady is there.

The first experience was through DoorDash. I remember that was what Gavin wanted after we came home from his 5th grade graduation ceremony. I cannot lie, I wanted L&L, too. The most recent experience was last Friday. We dined in this time. If you are in a hurry, call ahead to place your order. Our meal from DoorDash came pretty quick but we had to wait a bit in person. The food came out piping hot, fresh, and simply delicious! I've had their loco moco and their chicken plate. I cannot tell which one I enjoyed better. I will add another scoop of the mac salad next time. Friendly service. Tables were clean. The soda fountain machine worked! Unlike the other location off of Almaden Expwy. If you are looking for a simple meal w/ generous portions, then come on by!
