I didn't know about this place until I did a deep dive on Reddit. This little hole in the wall is probably one of the best Mexican restaurants that I have ever been to. Being open since 1986, they know their way around a birria. I ordered a birria chivo burrito and I had to take breaks between bites to appreciate the flavor. I even thought about the food on the drive home. Even as I'm writing this, I crave another burrito. I ordered a carne asada burrito to take home, and even that was superb.

Being from Jalisco and educated in eating birria, I can say that this establishment is better than several on my ranch. I would only recommend that they give green lemon instead of yellow lemon, and that they cut it right away, it shows that they cut the lemon in the morning and by midday they don't taste fresh, that small detail makes a difference. Just as good authentic birrie and consistent in knowledge.
