My Partner and I have been going here for a few years now. This has become one of our go to date night spots. It's small and cozy and can also accomodate larger parties, we typically see a party of 8+ each time we are there. The lighting is warm and inviting to relax .They have live entertainment which further adds to the ambiance.
The servers are amazing and knowledgable with the food and wine selection. They have a great wine selection to choose from of different Spanish wines. We typically get a bottle when we go there.
The food is amazing. The Pulpo is one of our go to, we get is every time. We've tried man different Palla and loved all over them. The aurugula salad is another go to of ours. Every food that we've ordered has been delish.
Service was great. The ambiance was great. The food was just not impressive or flavorful.

Stopped by on a busy night without a reservation. Was lucky to get the last two bar seats. Excellent service as always but the bar stools are far from comfortable. I had to sit sideways to not slide off continuously and my dinner mate had to lean her foot to try and balance all through dinner. No bar rail for a foot rest so it was a struggle. Will continue to visit but will make sure to reserve a table. The wait staff is amazing here.
Kid-friendliness: I wouldn’t bring my kids here. Enjoy the night out with a great atmosphere

This is a wonderful, wonderful place to enjoy food, conversation, wine (I got to be honest I don't know much about wine) and music. The Ambiance it's delightful, tapas, paella, and, and .... more was so delicious, the server recommended a delicious wine, they really know their business, live music was enjoyable that inspired us, some how, to have deep conversation on our table. The owner and her son are very friendly, my perception was that their employees are happy working for them they treat them like family and you know what? I think that's how I felt too, that I was treated like family. I definitely recommend you this restaurant. It is a MUST if you are in San José. Thank you for the wonderful experience
