It was my first time in the restaurant and the food was great! Definitely recommend!! I ordered a lot of the appetizers and felt very satisfied. The portions are perfect. I had a beautiful server as well. She made my experience even better. Her name is Rita. She was very willing to explain the menu to me and even recommended me some local places to check out. Overall great!

Overpriced for quantity and quality…Caesar salad was sub par … salty dressing , lettuce leaves were not crisp and only breadcrumbs which created a congealed glob

Fettuccini was better (pasta was al dente) but small portion

Service was not attentive …. Had to request a clean plate (as we shared dishes) and had to ask for fresh ground pepper

Excellent food! Rita made the fettuccini cheese wheel experience a lot of fun. Looking forward to coming back!

The pasta and the starters were inedible! Avoid! Only the pizza was good…and the tiramisu and espresso were excellent. But what a disappointment to have disgusting pasta!

The tomato had a slightly sweet taste, which left me feeling unsatisfied. The overall taste was American-Italian.

The food was delicious and authentic, and our server provided excellent service. However, considering the price, the portion sizes were a bit on the small side. Additionally, the restaurant's noise level was somewhat high, so if you prefer a quieter dining experience, this might not be the ideal choice.

Overall Rating: 4 Stars We went for Sunday lunch and ordered the Rosemary Focaccia, Panzanella Salad, Bucatinni Cacio e Pepe, Tagliatelle alla Bolognesa, and Calzone. The focaccia and Panzanella were delicious. The Cacio e Pepe was really al dente but the creaminess of the pasta made up for it. The complimentary tiramisu was delicous as well.

Excellent tasting food in a very attractive room. That said, there are times when they are TOO Italian meaning you'll have to ask what the menu description means or make Google Translate your friend. Biggest gripe of the evening was the inconsistency in bringing out our order -one entree (bowl of pasta) arrived a good 5 minutes before the other two (pizzas) and desserts arrived well before the coffee. Would definitely return, it's just little things that knocked down the stars received.

Best pizza ever! Tiramisu was also splendid. Service started out iffy with the server that greeted us but then someone else took over and it was on point from then on- don't be shy to ask for help if your original guy disappears for too long before you even have a chance to order.

The food was really good. The ingredients were fresh and we were very satisfied. The prices seem a little high, but I guess it's understandable when all the ingredients are imported from Italy. I wish the ambience was a little more laid back. The service was excellent.

The strict no adjustments to dishes is annoying. I'm paying for it and eating it so, if I want to add shrimp just charge more for it. If I don't want clams just remove it. Your greeters are fantastic.

If you don't have a reservation, be prepared to wait. Even after you get seated, there's usually long wait for your food. The food's just okay level, but it's kinda pricey. And when you're ready to pay, the server gives you this thing with tip options of 18%, 20%, or 22%? What?

The food at La Pizza & La Pasta (Silicon Valley) was excellent. The triguste pizza was a bit smaller than we expected, but apart from that it was great. The tiramisu is not to be missed, it was heavenly. Having said that, we did have a big complain about our visit. We made a dinner reservation after sunset to sit outside. The table which we were assigned had no light, none whatsoever. The overhead hanging lights were out and we ate in near darkness. Our server Francesca (who was lovely and helpful) noticed it immediately and tried to talk to the manager and make some arrangements. Now for some reason they didn't find another table for us, which is understandable on a Friday night. What is NOT understandable is that the manager or the host did not make the slightest gesture to make us feel better or to even come and apologize for the inconvenience. We did not even see the manager, while the host came and patronizingly said "shall I stand here holding a phone over your heads?" It was horrible to be treated that way, and has marred my experience of eating at this place. Again, Francesca was amazing and she is the only one who tried to make amends by bringing small candles (though they didn't help much), which was much appreciated. The way the host behaved is so horrible and mean-spirited that I am not sure I will go back soon, which is a pity because the food is excellent.
