For a Thai specialty place, it nailed the hospitality department. Staffs are super friendly and kind, just like how it was when I visited Thailand. Things I would complain about are the meals there, it doesn't taste like an authentic Thai meal. I'm sure they made a few adjustment to fit the taste buds of the people here but for the price that they charge , the quality of the food is just not justified. Lanna Thai is hands down one of the best Thai restaurants in San Jose! The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The Pad Thai is perfectly balanced, and the green curry is rich, aromatic, and just the right amount of spicy.
The staff is always welcoming and attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting, great for a casual dinner or a special night out. I’ve been here multiple times and have never been disappointed.

Tom Yum soup was our favorite based on other review recommendation. We even loved the Pad Thai that we ordered. Basil fried rice was on spicier side but we liked the heat, perfect to cool off with the classic Thai ice tea!
