Great chicken tacos with homemade tortillas. If you’re driving you need to enter through the paid parking gate, but you can ask for a sticker to waive the parking fee.

Wow! What a surprise to see that Tonita's truck was open at 9 and to see that they still had masa to make delicious gorditas! The corn in the masa was fantastic. I got the lengua -amazing! The carnitas were great too-a perfect combination of meaty and crunchy! Plan to make the detour on our way to Santa Cruz.

Best Mexican in San Jose area. Love the customer service. Family owned, & location is perfect for a quick bite. Parking validation & outdoor seating available. Try their fresh hand made gorditas and thank me later.

Excellent food. Perfect tacos served by wonderful people. The tortillas are homemade and everything is cooked fresh and with care and served in generous portions. I'll be back every time I'm in San Jose.

Like a lot of people have mentioned, the meats and salsas are average, but the handmade tortillas are pretty good.

Best taco truck in Downtown SJ
Good food but hours are unreliable. Knowing this I called to see if they were open and they said yes. We arrived 5 min later. Out of nowhere they said we are closed now until 5:30. ??? Waste of my time
