The handmade tortillas are the best part of this place. The meats, salsas, etc. are very average and at $4/each, it's not the best taco deal in town...but it's worth trying for the freshly made tortillas! ?

We ordered a mulita with pastor, 3 tacos (asada, pastor, and salmon!), two gorditas with asada, and a torta with picadillo. The tortillas and gorditas were made in front of us while the rest of the food cooked, and everything was prepared quickly. Everything was delicious, but the biggest surprise was the salmon taco which isn't offered anywhere else. A nice piece of grilled salmon served with a tangy coleslaw.Highly recommend this place.

Amazing food extremely tasty, wonderful sauces and the all spicy. I love that in addition that the homemade tortillas in the tacos are insane I would love to take the food truck with me back to Miami. You don’t taste Mexico in Miami believe me and these folk truck pure Mexico, I love it. I’ll be back tomorrow.

Kind of overpriced (ordered five tacos and a burrito and it was $40) which I wouldn’t mind if the food was really good. The meat isn’t very juicy or good. The burrito had too much overcooked rice and very little meat. Will skip next time.

Their chicken quesadillas are very good. The Tacos are fair. Good authentic flavor. The grilled onions and jalapenos were also very good. For not speaking much English they sure can pronounce twenty two dollars with no accent. Service was good. About as much atmosphere as you'd expect from a tent by a food truck. The hard rain didn't help with the ambience.

Handmade tortillas for the tacos and mulita were great. Al pastor, asada and pollo meats were tasty with good salsa’s to add. Friendly service and covered place to sit. First time there, but won’t be our last!Parking: Have to understand it’s a downtown location. Otherwise, good amount of parking within walking distance.Kid-friendliness: relaxed outdoor seating if kids feel the need to move around.

Al pastor and the chicharron ensado are really good. Great meat to tortilla ratio and the aunt and uncles are very friendly and informative. Service is fast and they wipe the tables down with a lot of lights!

This is my go-to spot in downtown San Jose for quick and delicious Mexican food. Tacos are made with homemade tortillas. A great alternative food option when attending the San Jose Jazz festival or other events happening in the downtown. Reasonably priced and very nice people. They have all the typical fare, everything from tacos, tortas, burritos. agua frescos, etc..
