Fantastic restaurant! We like it better than Mastros. Prices are affordable and the food is delicious. Their customer service is great! You wait less than 5 minutes with your reservation.
The place is very good. The location ia good. The service is impeccable. The attends and the recepcionist are very kind and helps my group in ll the aspects.
Wish they had told me that the filet mignon is baked & not grilled. Disappointing & they made no efforts to make it right.
I've been coming to LB Steak for quite a while now, and it's clear the experience has changed — not entirely for the better. This place used to be a quiet, relaxing spot with top-tier service, especially during the evenings. The atmosphere felt elevated, the staff attentive, and the overall vibe was perfect for a night out. Lately though, it's noticeably gone downhill. The service feels rushed, and the ambiance — especially on weekends — is nowhere near as calm as it used to be. That said, their filet mignon is still outstanding. It's consistently cooked to perfection and remains one of the best items on the menu. A word of advice: avoid patio seating at night, especially on Fridays. The noise from loud cars cruising Santana Row can absolutely kill the mood. What should be a pleasant dining experience quickly turns into a battle to hear your conversation over revving engines and street noise. LB Steak still has strong points — especially the food — but the overall experience isn't what it once was. Hopefully it turns around soon
Excellent food and atmosphere. We tried a wide variety of food: pork belly appetizer, Caesar salad, and Brussel sprouts. All excellent. Steak was perfect. Loved the Violette cocktail.
Just okay for the price – not what we expected We dined at LB Steak Santana Row on Saturday evening with a 7 p.m. reservation and left feeling underwhelmed. Our server spoke quickly and was hard to understand, never shared any specials, and didn't set the tone for a high-end steakhouse experience. The evening started with a drink mishap: we ordered two cocktails, but only one arrived. The second took over 10–15 minutes to appear—by then, the first was watered down. The bread basket came without butter, and when we asked, it took a while to get it. When our entrées arrived, the steaks—a petite filet and a ribeye—were simply plated, looking more like two plain pieces of meat than a signature steakhouse presentation. The lobster mac & cheese was dry and lacked flavor, though the miso corn was a bright spot. There was no follow-up on cocktails or even a basic water refill during our meal. The manager made a quick “everything okay?” stop but didn't engage or seem interested in feedback. For the premium pricing, we expected polished service and elevated food. Instead, it felt more like a strip-mall dinner than the sophisticated experience their website promises. We won't be rushing back.
The service was a major disappointment. Our server, who seemed inexperienced, broke the cork while opening our 2003 red wine and then simply pushed the remaining piece into the bottle before straining it. This was unprofessional. The service was also slow; our server rarely checked on us all evening because the restaurant was busy.
We went for my birthday dinner. Our server. Kristy, was lovely - attentive, knowledgeable on the menu and took wonderful care of us, refilling our glasses without asking and constantly checking all was good. We ordered the 14 oz ribeye to share and it arrived perfectly cooked to our liking, sliced and with that good delicious sear. Beef was tender and delicious. Appetizer, salad and sides all excellent. The Hokkaido scallops - just wonderful. WE will be back, for sure.
We have a wonderful time at LB steakhouse. My daughter was late getting there and yet they still didn't rush us. The waiter was excellent, and the food was good. As a suggestion, it would be nice to have more than one selection of steak sauce that is gluten-free and the option of a plain baked potato for someone that is gluten-free.
Husband and I came LB steak house to celebrate our wedding anniversary and always enjoy eating at a good steak place. Service and clean up team here is AMAZING! They were on point!
Unfortunately the food didn’t back it up !
I had a fillet and husband had a ribeye, it was so DRY with NO flavor! The mash potatoes taste and look like it was made from box potatoes. Powder mixed with water! BAD!
Asparagus was ok. Had better.
The cooks need a major refresh! Or at least who ever made our food does!
Overall, VERY disappointed. Not worth our money and we won’t be returning

Outstanding service and food! Definitely would say is the best value steakhouse in the South Bay!
Tereible service from Silvio. We came here this week to celebrate a special occasion & were treated like we were a burden. I regret going to this restaurant. I won’t waste my money here again.

I had an incredible dining experience at LB Steak in Santana Row! I ordered the steak tartare, and wagyu flight, and it was absolutely amazing – perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with flavor. The fries were crisp and delicious, the ideal pairing. What really made the evening special was the service. Our waitress was extremely friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we sat down. Truly top-notch service and food – can’t wait to come back!

I had an amazing dining experience at LB Steak, Santana Row! We started with the fresh oysters on ice, which were so refreshing and perfectly paired with the sauces. The highlight was the filet mignon, cooked to absolute perfection — tender, juicy, and paired beautifully with both the mushroom sauce and the peppercorn sauce. The loaded baked potato was rich and comforting, topped with creamy cheese and fresh chives, while the sautéed mushrooms added a perfect earthy balance.
To finish, the Spiced Chocolate Cake was unforgettable — warm, rich, and complemented with miso caramel and fresh strawberries. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor.
A wonderful spot for a memorable meal — highly recommend LB Steak at Santana Row for anyone looking for top-quality food and a great atmosphere!
