Phenomenal, tucked away at number 7, but you can smell the fresh bread

Cash only, but pork and chicken were delicious

Very unsuspecting location for a wholesale bakery. There's bread everywhere when you walk in and the smell is ahhmazing. The woman that helped me was very friendly and helpful. I love the pate chaud and they're my go-to when bringing food for a pot luck. The price had increased since the last time I visited 7 months ago. Chicken is $1.85 each and pork is $1.75 each.

This hole in the wall bakery is amazing!! Don't be alarmed by the location and decor. It is actually a "warehouse" that make baked goods for the local supermarkets! You know the bread that comes in a clear and pink borders? Yup, this is the place that makes them.If you do not see any staff member, feel free to yell out or make your way towards the back. You will find someone!I love coming here because 90% of the time, the bread and pate chaud is still hot! You can smell the delicious buttery smell through out the entire building. The price is pretty decent for the size however, the pate chaud's price changes every few months from what I noticed. I highly recommend this place especially if you like your meat filling in the pastry to be a little but firmer than normal. The seasoning on it is perfect. However, it does not give it as much of a kick as other places like Vien Dong off of Senter.

You know when a tiny warehouse makes only pate chaud and bread, it's gotta be good.I was craving breakfast one day and decided to try their pate chaud and found a piece of heaven in this corner of the neighborhood. It's tucked away in a very unassuming warehouse, but you will not regret hunting for these pate chaud.I got one chicken and one pork around 9am and they were still warm. The pastry melts in your mouth (probably a TON of butter) and the meat is seasoned so well!! The people working there were also very nice, but it was a little confusing because there's nothing like a counter to buy things. I walked in and it was just a maze of pastry racks. A lady asked if I had placed an order which I hadn't, so I was a little confused, but I was still able to get my pate chaud. If you follow the photos (I will attach one) it's not hard to find at all and there is parking. I would come here every weekend when I have the time and will definitely be evangelising to many more people!

As a child, one of my favorite foods was pate chaud! What's not to love?? It's a savory puff pastry stuffed with meat (typically chicken and/or pork) filling, onions, and pate (liver paste). It's exterior is extra flakey and it will leave your hands buttery and happy! My dad introduced me to this hidden gem, Le Croissant--their pate chaud are sooo delicious! They are made fresh to order, so call them and order in advanced...otherwise you'll have to come extra early (they have odd limited business hours) and chances are they'll be sold out anyway. There have been times where they would make an extra batch, but would require a minimum order of like 30. Don't forget these bad boys are best when eaten fresh, so eat them while their nice and warm! If you really need to, you can pop them into an oven to warm them up.

Still just as good today as it was years ago. I love the pate chaud it Le Croissant! It’s a hidden gem of San Jose. They’re not really a store but more so a distributor. I’m not sure where they distribute the bitterly flaky goodness to, but I’m glad I was able to find the source nonetheless. You must order a day in advance since they produce just enough to distribute to their clients each day. In a pinch, you may be lucky and can pick up an order that was not picked up by another guest but best to order the day before. Keep in mind their business hours are 5am-10am so you’ll have to order early and pick up early. When I first order these several years ago, they were $0.80 a pop, currently they’re $1.20 at the time of this posting but still worth every delectable bite on a Saturday morning with a hot cup of coffee. The location isn’t obvious and looks like a warehouse so if that’s where your gps leads you to, you’re in the right spot. It’s also cash only so don’t forget to bring the greens.Bon appetit

The most horrible croissants, I have ever tasted, Costco, Safeway... are very bad but that bakery is even worst. First, do not call that French croissants even if they is an Eiffel Tower on the plastic bag.

It's a baking wearhouse around an auto repair area you must have GPS. Very tasty croissants.

Good service - bread is excellent

Tip: Le Croissant isn't a typical bakery or restaurant. It's located in an industrial area and specializes in wholesale orders. Luckily, regular customers like you and I can place orders for their amazing Pate Chaud, or hot pastry pie. It's filled with either chicken or pork and wrapped in a buttery soft crust. At $0.80/each, feel free to splurge and try both types. Cash only.
