Linda’s is the best Authentic Mexican food in San José

Make sure you season the soup by adding the salt, loads of green onion, chili paste and cabbage kimchi inside the soup. This is what makes the soup.

One of my top locations for Mexican food. Very delicious. There was fast, efficient, and courteous service. The bill won't shock you.

I went to this place when I was living in the neighborhood.

I came a few days ago, and placed an order over the phone for pozole. The lady who took my order was very accommodating and kind! The pozole was so good and they are very generous with the portions! Definitely coming back again to eat :)

Linda's is a nice little place in the heart of San Jose. The menu is ridiculously extensive. PRO-TIP: For the best deal, order off the "COMBINATIONS PLATES" page of the menu. There are 27 options on this page that go as low as $10. Each of these comes with rice, beans, and salad. You get a lot of food. We tried the Machaca, which is shredded beef cooked with tomatoes, onion, pepper, and eggs. It was delicious and made fresh to order. We also tried Lengua a la Mexicana. This is been tongue in their special sauce. Its served with tomatoes, onions, and bell pepper. This is a heavily-spiced dish with lots of flavor. Linda's can get a bit busy. If you are in a hurry, sit at the counter for faster service.

I visit this place a lot! This is my favorite restaurant to eat. I go there frequently. The meals are excellent, the staff is welcoming and the payment is decent. I like being in this restaurant over a good lunch.

Caldo de res and menudo. Absolutely delicious! Usually places have stinky caldo, but this place doesn't. The broth was flavorful and rich, not over salted. This is my new go to place to be brought back to life.

This place is a hidden gem - the place is nicely set up with TVs and a bar area - the super nachos were tasty and the posole was out of sight - I think they must have a grandma tied up in the back because only a grandma can make this type of delicacy. I'm conflicted ... do I call social service to come free grandma? Or let her stay there and continue to make tasty mouth watering pozole ? Maybe I free her and take her home to cook for me ... or just let her stay and I can continue to eat great super nachos and feeling pozole! The serving staff is attentive - the lemons were fresh - beer was cold - soup was hot - we need more places like this to summer our cravings on a Sunday nfl playoff day Niner/packer Mgr championship coming up Thank you Linda for the quality service and food Take care of grandma back there in that kitchen

The service was excellent and the food great. One waitress for 15 people and with a smile. God bless her

Dropped my car off for a car wash and I was walking to McDonald's when I came across this joint. I was craving a burrito and was thinking of having it for dinner, but I decided to give this place a try. It's a little hard to spot if you're driving down the street. The inside is pretty basic. The seating is open and you're able to sit wherever you'd like. The service was standard, nothing too extraordinary and also no disappointments. The burrito I had was okay. The asada meat was bland and just alright. The burrito also didn't have any salsa inside and when I asked for some the server seemed a bit confused. They did have tomatillo salsa which worked for me. I wouldn't go out of my way to come to this place, but I wouldn't mind coming here again if I'm in the area and I'm craving Mexican food. I will say they had lots of options on their menu. So next time I'm definitely trying something else. I'll have to try another item on their menu before I recommend.
