The food was good but I have few comments. Hummus had too much cumin The shawarma wraps should not have that much vegetable in it. I’m comparing with shawarma wraps at back home where the owners from, they should know that. The meat they use it’s not the best. We will go back and try other food and see. Friendly staff.

I usually get Manakish flat bread and always on point but I got the beef shawarma and I SWEAR TO GOD I got food poisoning. Been sick for 2 days now and couldn’t eat anything since the sandwich. Couldn’t even go to the bathroom and want to throw up the entire time and have fever. Went to the doctor and he said I have food poisoning. I’m not targeting this place as I enjoyed their flatbread I got it few times. But don’t eat anything with the beef shawarma please. And before the owner tells me it’s not the right place on here sir check where you get your beef shawarma. Wouldn’t feed it to a dog. Everything else is great ?

What an unexpected experience that I will definitely repeat!
My first step into Manakish felt like I was transported to the streets of Beirut Lebanon from the friendly service, decor and the smell of fresh bread and zaa'tar.
The smells were tempting, but we were in a low carb day so We decided to start with a light and refreshing fatosh salad - an herbatious, zesty, and texturally pleasing salad.
At this point we were excited for the next order, a falafel wrap. Were very particular with our falafel, but these were perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The ratios of chickpeas to herbs were just right and the selection of pickles, vegetables and sauce complement them nicely!
The toughest part of dieting has been finding a good balance of tasty and healthy. Manakish checks off all those boxes!
We're looking forward to coming back and try their flat breads and kebobs on a cheat day!

I got the Chicken Kabab Wrap and it was SO good! My partner got the Beef Wrap and a Pepperoni Pizza, he liked the Wrap, the Pizza he said was not his style- but not bad. We also got the strawberry juice which was very fresh and delicious! Atmosphere is nice and clean. We are definitely coming back to try more items!

Excited to see a new spot in this neighborhood. Parking was simple, place was clean, and decor was fun. We ordered a bunch of items, from the specialty drinks and fresh Rose lemonade, to the flatbreads and wraps. The hummus and pita was tasty, the veggie flatbread was hearty, and we simply ate too much. lol! So good! Plus the fella who helped us was very friendly and attentive. We’ll be back. Bravo Manakish!

I am so thankful that Manakish has a location in San Jose now. I was there for the first time during their soft opening and from there we asked them to cater a gathering for us. The service was fantastic with one of the co-owners delivering the food and setting it up himself. The menoushe tasted like it just came off of the sajj in Beirut and their in house baked Pita bread is amazing. I wish Manakish continued success.

LOVE the SAN JOSE location, it's bright, clean has a large outdoor seating area, a big plus for my family. This was our first time at the SAN JOSE location and it was perfect. My kids loved the Zaatar Mannish, without the cheese, we also ordered beef shawarma wrap, chicken kebab plate, lamb kebab and hummus with fresh pitta(my favorite ) Everything was delicious. The portions are huge which is a big plus for my family, and we had leftovers to take home. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, we got to meet the owners Feras and Nabila, who were accommodating and answered all our food questions This is will be our to go to spot, go check them out in San Jose off of Stockton Ave, you'll thank me later:)
