I was working in the area and saw this place conveniently nearby. I stopped by to see what would speak to me and that I'd like to eat that morning. The ham and cheese croissant w jalapeño really hit the spot. I know donuts and croissants are kinda generic so you don't really expect things to be different from other places. I've actually had some below average ham and cheese croissants so this place was a pleasant surprise with the above average performance lol.. You'll find plenty of parking here being that they share a parking lot with a bunch of businesses including Safeway. I'd say the main reason why I felt inclined to write this review aside from the quality and top customer service. I was helped by a young man with a great attitude and speedy service during the morning rush.

Two friends and I (20 something, 30 something, 40 something), had just enjoyed breakfast next door at Toast Cafe. We went over to Manley's to get donuts to take home to our family's. When we walked in there was a woman making an order at the counter, so we sat at a table and started to look up tickets for an upcoming trip. Less than 5 minutes past, the woman behind the counter shouted to us, "are you going to order. You have to order if you want to sit there". One of my friends and I immediately got up and said "yes". My friend told the woman, "we were waiting for the other woman to leave..".The woman behind the counter snapped back, " she left a long time ago!".We didn't even argue, we just left the store.I was so disappointed with how she spoke to us and how she snapped back at my friend. It's was rude and uncalled for.I have been there many times. My husband loves when I bring him a chocolate donut from Manley's. I won't be doing that anymore. They lost 3 customers today.

Well sad to say, whoever the old lady is that runs the place when husband is not around is rude for one. She tried charging my fiance more then she should have for a basic glaze donut, a prize for a twist glaze. Then after she had the nerve to tell him good luck finding somewhere that will sell him a donut at a better price. Ofcourse this is not our regular donut shop, my fiance tells her where the better donuts and prices are she kept yapping as he left. Customer service is horrible with her there alone. Her husband needs to run it himself she's a problem and this is not the first

The people that own/operate this location (Bird Ave) are just the nicest. Such wonderful customer service. And their donuts, well they speak for themselves. After one bite, you will be in donut heaven! So if you are looking for a sweet morning treat (or early afternoon), look no further. I can't personally speak for the coffee because I don't drink it, but I have seen plenty of others that do and they appear to be quite happy.

solid donuts. The owners are super friendly and welcoming as well. Very dangerous because I live so close, but plan to be back!

Amazing glazed croissant donut. The best one I’ve ever had. It was a bit more dense than other cronuts I’ve had but this was decadent and delicious.I also ordered a lox bagel, good. It was a jalapeño bagel, quite good, had some kick but not at all over powering, more on the subtle side.

Nice breakfast spot. Very homey local donut/dessert shop. Owners are very nice, greeting you with a smile. Coffee is good and yes, they do accept credit cards now!

Great donuts and great service, what more could you ask for in life! I would definitely recommend this place!

Nice customer service, but the donuts were terrible. Maybe I have been spoiled by WORLD FAIR IN HAYWARD. But these donuts were terrible. I had the Apple fritter, glazed buttermilk, bearclaw with apple in it and a chocolate old fashion. I would say that it's missing taste. I could taste the sugar, but not the sweetness. If you have ever had a good donut, this place will disappoint. Just being honest. Won't go back.My boyfriend said he liked the donut with sprinkles. And that the owner is really nice. I try and be honest about the food. Giving him a 3 star because he has been there a long time and my boyfriend likes some donuts there. But, I still stand by my Thoughts of honesty and taste ;).

Fast. Good hours, and better than average donuts. I will continue to use Manley Donuts.
