Authentic flavorful cuisine. This is hands down, my South Bay Area go-to taqueria.

This restaurant brought me right back to my time in Mexico. The whole neighborhood and the atmosphere inside felt authentic, with the super friendly service and the elderly gentleman strolling around.
The food was delicious, the fajitas tasted so authentic, just like in some of the best restaurants I visited in Mexico. Prices are at California levels but still fair for the quality.

We got the super nachos, absolutely delicious and filled to the brim. Such good bang for your buck. The salsa is absolutely delicious, the chips always the perfect crispiness.

Over the years. I've had breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Mar y Sol. I usually just get a single taco with carnitas which is really a bargain. I splurged this week and had a full dinner, enchiladas verde, rice, beans, and small salad ($20-ish), took 2 entire enchiladas home for lunch the next day :-). The food is excellent, the staff is lovely, and the atmosphere is delightful. Pay cash to get a discount (3%, IIRC).
