Some super attentive and moves along efficiently at the bar and line, then some taking a bit too long bs'ing instead of taking care of the longer line. In the side building of San Pedro square, but still enough food in the one building do you didn't want to walk across the area for more.

I've visited this place a few times in San Pedro Square and don't plan to again. While they have a good selection of beers, I have had very few that truly impressed me. On top of this, they charge more than any other spot in the area, with some drinks being $12 for 12oz. I'd suggest walking through San Pedro and going somewhere else lol especially if you're just getting something simple.

It's located at the San Pedro Square Market which is nice as you can grab a drink and sit anywhere in the market. I've never had a Nitro fruit beer so I was intrigued by the Left Hand Flamingo Dreams Nitro. It was refreshing, vibrant, and smooth with subtle berry notes. Great drink to just sip on.

Located in an elevated "food court," this place is perfectly placed! The beers are local & unique, especially for us since we were on vacation at the time. I love local beers, so this place was perfect! They don't serve food, but it's in the middle of a bunch of unique food places. The service was great & she actually surprised us with a few great selections when we couldn't figure out what to get in our flight. It's a small bar like area, but the ambiance is perfect for a quick meal & drink if you're passing through San Pedro Square.

Great selection of craft beers here! Market Beer Company is located at San Pedro Market Square. I came here on Sunday night to meet a few friends, as Monday was a holiday, so I could stay out later. The bartender was very friendly and offered me a few suggestions. For my first beer, I opted for an IPA. Nice pour and decent prices. Convenient way to pay. The bartender was very brisk and efficient too, so the line kept moving. My second beer, I noticed a Belgian Tripel beer from Berkeley. Wow! This one was great! It had a nice kick to it, and my friend also had the same beer. We both did a toast and agreed that it was the winner for the evening! Overall, love Market Beer Company, its location (next to many different food stalls), and would recommend this place. They also have TV's so you can watch sports while you're chatting with friends. Enjoy!

Recommend the flights if you don't know what you're doing. Try the stouts! And ask questions, the more you know the better!

Market Beer Company was a game changer addition to SPSM for me. They have a ton of options, and the options change out frequently enough to always try something new (and good!). They also have a fridge with cans if that's more what you're going for. Sometimes when the market is busy, this place can get a good line, but the people behind the bar keep it moving pretty fast.

On a sunny Thursday afternoon, I visited the San Pedro Square Market in San Jose. Inside I discovered a truly awesome craft beer bar called, Market Beer Company. The best part was that I met a truly lovely bartender with great tattoos who was incredibly knowledgeable about craft beers, friendly, and cordial. Her willingness to chat with me and overall kindness really made my day!! Further, the San Pedro Square Market has plenty of delicious, diverse, and ethnic culinary choices, and many sunny and shady spots to sit outside. With that said, there’s also plenty of inside seating as well.
