Don't go here, people are speeding through the lot because the dedicated right turn lane from Story Road to Capitol Expressway is closed. They almost ran over my kids and customers exiting the drive thru almost had a collision just leaving with their food.

The service is good, the bad thing is that when it's cold they have the air conditioning on, and when it's hot they have the heater on, as if they don't want people in the place!

they gave us all the leftover fries in the frying pan and told them they are oily and small pieces what they did is they just put some newly cooked fries and the manager and crews are laugjing when they handed it to us at the drive thru. hate it when people do such things

One of the most efficient McDonald's I've been to. They will occasionally mess up your order like any fast-food restaurant. Check your orders before you leave!

It's a McDonalds. If you don't like it here, don't come or leave, no need to complain about their crappy food. We know. It's fast. Drive thru.
Lots of unending bart construction, but an entrance/exit on Capitol about 800 feet in, past AutoZone, and one on Story, gives the average driver time to get at least one, but be in the right lane at the right time, on the right side of the road! Average driver, yes, Average McDonald's customer, probably not, thus the second try.
Again, if you don't like McDonald's, go somewhere else. Like to Super Taqueria, at story and white, on the left corner (headed to the hills)... Using N W S E Is all good, but why? People just get mad. They are across from Burger King, and the 76 station.

Warning for Happy Meal Toy Collectors: Do NOT rely on the McDonald's app indicating a certain toy collection is available.

We found that the toy collection we wanted was available at this particular location (Story) using the app, so we made a mobile order to pick up 3 Happy Meals here. We had checked other locations on the app, and those locations said they were out of stock. (We were looking for the Little McDonald's collection).

We didn't realize until we got home that the toys were NOT from the collection indicated on the app. They were from an older one. It was disapponting.

It is misleading that the app says our order will include toys from the Little McDonald's collection, but we were given something else instead. It's like buying 2 chicken sandwiches on the app and receiving 2 hamburgers instead because they were out of chicken but didn't say so on the app.

I give this location 2 stars because the employees inside are doing their job, and the rest of the order was fine. But whoever manages what's in stock at this location on the app is shady.

Horrible service , they forget items constantly ordered through door dash and forgot 2 drinks 4 fries and one of the sodas was flat.

Order online to pick up via drive thru which made the pickup tricky. Maybe have two lines to pull in rather than one. People were trying to pick the fastest lane which made for a bigger line. You do have to factor in that it was almost closing time so you had your late night rush. Not McDonald's fault so no blame on them. Over all the food was good, hot and fast. Staff did a good job keeping the lines moving.

I can't give a single star for the atmosphere. I don't like giving negative reviews, but here we go. Absolutely no engagement with customers. You have to use the kiosk. I forgot my debit card, and I wait 8 minutes for them to come to the register to pay. Then, walking through the dining area to the playground with my granddaughter, there's a huge pool of chunky bright pink vomit all over the table and floor on the huge communal table with stools. 🤢(HUGE AMOUNT) When the employee brought our food, She looked at it on the way there and on her way back. It didn't get cleaned up. My granddaughter wanted dessert. A different employee brought our dessert, looked at the vomit, and ignored it. I tried to tell someone about it, but it took 8 minutes to get someone to the register, and we were on the road for several hours, we were starving. I didn't want my food to get cold. I've been to many McDonald's around the country, and this was the worst restaurant I've ever visited! I'm so glad they have tables in the play area. We didn't have to try to eat in the vomit room. Also, the chicken nuggets are smaller than any McDonald's I've visited. The next time we come to San Jose, we're not going to visit this restaurant EVER AGAIN!
