The service at the counter is not good. You almost have to tell them you are waiting to be helped. They are focused on the drive-through and the self-help kiosk.

The only reason I go to the Curtner/Union location is because it's close to home and it's a drive-thru. Service is fast but I think it's because they already have the burgers and fries cooked and sitting under a heat lamp for hours. The food is consistently barely lukewarm. In fact, I have NEVER had a fresh batch of fries at this place (even upon request) and the containers are usually full of limp, broken pieces. It's a shame because the fries were always the best thing about McDonald's.

The best thing this location makes is their McFlurries and Icecream cones, otherwise it's on the extreme of cold or overcooked/dry. I ordered fries that were overly salted, soggy, and cold. It feels like they'd rather leave food heating longer than make a fresh batch, which is really unfortunate.Customer service here lacks and it's almost as though the staff would rather not engage with customers. It's a bit of an off putting environment, but it was the closest for a quick bite.McDonald's and chain restaurants can be either exceptional or below average, unfortunately this one doesn't really match up with other experiences.
