Food tastes good, but the service and hygiene are unacceptable.
I watched an employee touch her nose and continue taking orders without washing her hands. Another employee acted like taking orders was a burden, giving off a clear “I hate my job” attitude. Customers feel it immediately.
Employees represent the business. If this is what’s visible out front, it raises serious concerns about what happens in the back. Good food isn’t enough training, hygiene, and basic customer service matter.

If you're craving for Mexican pastries, tortas, tamales and fresh fruit in a cup. Then this is the place to come. Large variety of pan Mexican and the place closes late. Only BAD thing about this place. Parking is VERY, very small. 3 spots only including the ADA spot.

The asada torta is the best they are loaded with enough meat and has great flavor. I definitely recommend Mexican bakery.

Went in to pick up an order to find out wasn't ready so had to wait an extra 20 25 min waiting for something I had already ordered and then on top of the one burrito came out significantly smaller than the other overall I do not recommend ordering from this place.
Tortas are definitely not good bread was saggy and wet. too much meat everything falls apart im sure pastries are good nut tortas not worth it
I wasn’t disappointed with my torta de milanesa or my Vampiro drink. The only thing I wished for was some AC inside.
Tortas are amazing!!
The service is really slow here, I waited 40 minutes for one torta!
I believe I've had a torta from this business before but in a different location. When I had it back then, I really enjoyed the torta milanesa. It was a big torta and had queso mexicano, avacado, a good portion of the milanesa meat among some other ingredients. That was like a 4 star torta. Very good. This time at the Mexico Bakery next to the 101 exit over the bridge, it was not as great. The meat was a little burnt and the flavors were not as savory. I did enjoy the food but it was closer to a 3-3.5 star quality.
However my overall experience has been good at this business and I've had good tortas here. I ate my torta with a Mexican coke and that was delicious. I hope to return and try other menu items that may change my impression of the food quality. I ended up paying around 25 dollars just for my meal and drink so it was a little expensive. It's sort of standard pricing for a meal in the Bay area though. If you visit, I hope you have a great dining experience.

Don’t like to be this way but, honestly this place is good and their food as well….. but the service is the worst…. This ladies at the front likes to gossiping around instead of helping the costumers, I don’t care and don’t mind wherever they are taking about but every time I’m there buying food I really need to wait long periods for them to help me out…. And plus they are helping and they keep talking to each other and it’s like hello you have a line please hurry up…. And they act like they don’t care about costumers….
The price are high, I considered other places to buy conchas and teleras.
Very friendly, I have always liked the cakes here a lot
