If anyone knows if there's a new Restaurant, or like a food truck or something that is them or even something close to it please. These were too not to look for again.

It's a one stop place, it has veggies, fruits, meat and spices. Also the prices are fair. One down fall is the parking ?️

Great store under new incredible management(owner). Their employees there are welcoming, and friendly. Prices are very competitive among similar stores. Store is very well organized and clean. I recommend this place for sure.

PLEASE COME BACK! I am so sad to know you are no longer there. Everything was delicious! The breakfast burritos were amazing! If you never had the chance to eat here, you missed out.

This was a great staple in San Jose history and it's gone now I will never forget the little old ladies hand making the tortillas and putting so much love into the food I always said if I ever became a millionaire I would move one of those ladies into my house as my personal chef it's so sad that covid led to the demise of this historic restaurant. When I go to heaven hopefully one of those burritos are waiting for me and a big bowl of the best pozole I ever ate in my entire life

After 25 years, the best place in San Jose for breakfast burritos has now closed. This is very saddening to my wife and I as we were three time a week visitors for their breakfast burritos. When you add in the salsa, hands down, they were above the rest. We've never tried the menudo although it always smelled aromatic when we walked in. Another San Jose original gone. Long live ESSJ!

We stopped here for breakfast. Service could be more generous. You order at the counter and get called up to get your own tray/food. No check in to see if you need napkins, forks or anything or offer drink refill. The reason I won't be back is I witnessed a child related to the staff taken to the kitchen to have a diaper changed. I wanted the hole in the wall experience thinking it would be authentic and serviceable. But it wasn't. The food otherwise is fine Really need to step up the customer service and care for sanitation (diaper thing) so customers come back. I wish my experience was better cause there was many items in their menu I would have like to try. Bummer.

It’s like a mini Mi Pueblo/ Cardenas. It’s convenient and affordable. The owner is very nice as well. Fresh produce and the meats. They sell pan dulce and crema so you don’t have to drive further to visit Chavez or Cardenas and the hassle of long lines. Love this place!

Late review post: came here a bit ago with two of my coworkers who love this place and always talk highly of it. I just say it is as AMAZING. I ordered a shrimp taco and the Menudo which I can hands down say so far is the best I've had In San Jose. The place is extremely clean and the staff is extremely friendly.
