Worst experience. We order online and picked up from the parcel box. But it charged 15% tips. What’s even worse, some items are missing and we are unable to contact them.

I got these via DoorDash! It seems like it's also possible to order through their own website. Everything is good! I love their interesting sourdoughs. Of course they taste like sourdough, but they look pretty and I felt that the ube sourdough had a sweet scent when I toasted a slice at home. Their breakfast toast is a pile of HEAVEN!! A little spicy and lemony, with a nice thick slice of bread. I got it with the sesame sourdough, I loved the seeds with that one. Very shareable portion. The potato tostones are shareable by 2-3 people too. They have a bit of a kick but they're absolutely delicious, smashed potatoes with the soft inners and crisped edges. The crab sandwich was amazing especially with the lemon squeezed on. I had my doubts about American cheese paired with crab, but honestly that really pulled it together with its salty smooth creaminess. And don't be fooled by the photo thinking it's some kinda wonderbread sized sandwich... Nah, it's a BIG sandwich! Their bread is lovely and soft. As for the chocolate strawberry toast, I think that's something you could make at home so I'd recommend just buying a loaf of the bread, which I also did! That said, it was tasty and the sweetness plus sourdough was surprisingly good. It was a thick slice of toast so, again, could be shared. The ube scone was nice and not too sweet, not a strong ube flavor but it was tasty! Overall everything I've tried so far has been good, I'm definitely going to explore the menu a little more.Vegetarian options: There are definitely a couple of vegetarian toasts/sandwiches and they look good! I wouldn't recommend for vegans though.

Fyi this is a takeout place. You order on the website for pick up or delivery. I opted for pick up and after placing the order went straight to the ghost kitchen. The order was ready in about 10 minutes and you can check on their kiosk the order progress and which locker your food is in. I ordered the potato tostones, a crab sando, and ube scone (but only because they were sold out of the strawberry yuzu). The potatoes were tasty but could have been crispier and more seasoned as I felt they were a little bland. The sando was amazing. I'll definitely be back to check out all their sando offerings. The shokupan they make is amazing. It's fluffy and light, like eating a slightly sweet cloud. The sando was generously decked out with crab, egg, cheese and aoil. It was presented beautifully and a good portion size. The Ube scone is another must get . The crumb is tender and there are lovely ube swirls throughout with a sweet ube frosting swirl on top. I want to try the strawberry one next. Overall a great food experience, I'd highly recommend checking them out.

FYI-- Milk Belly is one of many businesses in the Ruff cloud kitchen. You order from a shared kiosk and pick up from a locker system. Limited communal seating, of which is pretty dirty from having no cleaning staff. Definitely recommend doing to-go only. That being said, the food is bomb. I hope they move to their own spot soon! Our order of 5 sandos popped out in 15 mins-- they even included an extra scone in our bag. THE BREAKFAST CLUB (ube coconut sourdough): Tbh the ube coconut is kind of a gimmick LOL. Kind of tastes like a regular sourdough, with a bit of nutty sweetness. The sandwich overall is well-balanced, good amount of protein to veg to sauce. STRAWBERRY YUZU CREAM SCONE: Buttery, flaky, and absolutely decorated with fruity cream. Not too sweet, either-- just the right amount of tartness.

Yesterday, I got a long-fermentation bread. I didn't have hope it would be good, since I've bought from several places and they're all bad, but this one was the best I've ever had in the United States. I'll definitely become a customer. My 3-year-old son loved it and ate a lot of this bread.

I've been wanting to dry this place for awhile and LOVE the Vietnamese iced coffee and the bread the just the perfect consistency with every bite. Will need to go in person next time.

We found their sandos on DoorDash while looking for a tasty breakfast to grab. SO glad that we did because the sandos here were absolutely delicious!! Not to mention the unique variety + bakery offerings they have like ube and strawberry yuzu scones. I'd recommend the house breakfast sando for a classic breakfast taste! The eggs and bread were fluffy and it's packed generously with bacon. Of the two scone flavors mentioned above, I preferred the strawberry yuzu ones much more. They weren't too sweet and tasted light. Based on reviews, it doesn't seem like they have a formal storefront. If you're able to catch this on the delivery apps though, would definitely recommend! Milk Belly has become a staple for us when we don't know what to eat in the morning anymore lol.

Aside from the wait, food was delicious. I also had the scones and cookies! Would definitely come back!!

Things to know about Milk Belly, while there are a few seats outside, it's not a restaurant/bakery that you can go to and sit down to eat your food inside (the day I went it was raining hard). It's more of a pick up spot, lots of lockers that if you select "pick up," will go inside and use your code to unlock the locker and grab your food. You can also do delivery when you select them on Yelp (via Grub Hub) and it's also on DoorDash. I didn't know this and was both confused and disappointed when I went to Ruff Street to try their stuff! So hopefully this saves you the time and confusion! All that aside, their food...breads, scones, and cookies are YUMMY! I'm half Japanese and a huge fan of milk bread, it's a major childhood comfort food for me! I did delivery and the bread came over warm! As did the cookie, which, I dug into right away! Mmmmmmm, delicious! Oh, the hours of operation aren't super long 9am -3pm. My son and I wanted to try their sandwiches for dinner, so I haven't tried them just yet, but they look really good! And if they are anything like the cookie and milk bread, I know we'll both be super happy! They also have a private lot, but it was super packed when I drove over there the other day. Others who paid attention and ordered for pick up and/or delivery. Either way, the spot is/was popular! Update: we ate the sandwiches for dinner... egg salad is the way to go if you order ahead for a later meal. Breakfast club has great ingredients, but would be best eaten right away!

Sounds good on paper, but found Milk Belly's food a bit underwhelming. I got one of their breakfast sandwiches and a sweet treat. This is in the Ruff Dr spot where you enter a locker code and poof your food is there. They were well over the time estimate by about 10 minutes for my order. The sandwich proportions were off (though the bread was tasty itself) and the pastry was very dry. Overall, would not go back unfortunately.

Spam ham and eggs sandwich was very tasty. Two different types of scones were also very good. Menu is always tempting. Highly recommended!!

So my hunt for the best Honey Toast continues. I came here specifically for the Honey Toast and I would give it a 3.5 out of 5. It was decent but I'll keep searching for that amazing Honey Toast. This location is unique, it's a ghost kitchen where there are multiple restaurants cooking food for pick up. There are a few seats inside and outside. Not huge or anything special. Some of the other food looked pretty good. Might be back to try something else.

amazing bakery, their sourdough is fantastic. love their housemade pies as well, the egg custard is my favorite

This place is awesome. As everyone says - pickup is spotty as this is a DoorDash type kitchen. But the food is really good. The egg sandwich, breakfast sandwich, sourdough, and scones are all top notch.
