Just came to try the new location for mimosas in Willow Glen. I used to frequent their other location. We arrived and it was after 8:30 AM today. The sign said open. We went inside and nobody was there and it was freezing inside. After waiting for a while we looked into the back kitchen and saw someone in there. They informed us that the servers were still not in yet maybe a 10 more minutes. It was warmer outside. If it was 8:36 AM and they opened at 8 AM What's going on here? It's too bad because I really would've liked to have tried the new location. It was just too cold inside to sit and wait for the servers to show up.

First time visiting this restaurant on Aug 27 2023 around 12noon. Our total bill was just over $100 for 3 adults plus a toddler. First impression of the interior was ok. They were busy when we arrived but we were seated within minutes. The waiter (Antonio) that took our order was pleasant but that's the only thing good about our experience. Once he took our order, we only saw him one more time when he finally brought us water 10 mins later. We noticed other waiters brought new customers water as soon as they were seated. ? Then, when the food arrived, the portion size was NOT worth the value, especially the rib eye steak. It was OVERCOOKED to the point it was inedible. We asked for medium well but it was well done. Very disappointing as it was one of the most expensive specialty items on the menu. We had to ask for more napkins and water refills since no one ever checked on us, except when it was time to pay. And we weren't given a bill...the waiter told us what we owed and expected us to pay on the spot, without reviewing the breakdown of charges. Very odd.And before we left, the only woman waitress we saw asked us how was our service, I told her, "what service?"I told her how disappointing this experience was. She apologized profusely and said she'd talk to the manager. Apparently, she was in the back doing dishes and service is never this bad which made me think she's carrying a lot of the load. Definitely never coming back here.

Fun neighborhood bar cafe and small live music venue. The selection of music has been enjoyable. The extra large party drinks are worth trying and sharing. I have only tried simple snacks so far and they were fine, I'll update after I've tried a full meal.I'd had brunch at the Mimosas on Pearl 5+ years ago, where the food was good and mimosas great.Kid-friendliness: Of course during some live music evening times it may be too loud, if you forgot your children's earplugs. Outside of that, this place seems kid fine.
