I thought they'd have better food after their renovation, but unfortunately not. The omelet I ordered was very greasy, and the pancakes my wife ordered were tasteless and like plastic, very difficult to cut. The waitresses were very friendly and attentive, but the food disappointed me.

It was okay. I’ll say the service wasn’t bad, food was out quickly despite other reviews I had read. The food however was very generic. Quite expensive for food that tastes like it was made at home. And the portions are smaller and more expensive than at similar places around.

First of all thank you for being open at 1:30 in the am on Saturday nite/Sunday a.m. posted hours are 3 am.. me and my guys like to have fun and well we did. The mini gourmet pushed out traditionally good food. Check this out, I enjoyed a generous portion of Chilequiles and my two friends had the same thing Steak And eggs. But not just steak and eggs, they each chose the $3 upgrade to Wagyu beef and eggs (
Wagyu beef is highly revered for its vast fat deposits, commonly referred to as marbling. When examining Wagyu beef, it will appear rich in large fatty streaks throughout every cut.) good was the definitely mu h better than any other 230 a.m. option and more. Enjoyed the service immensely.was. Was nice, Blondie. She had a pleasant, fun, bit quirky, nice disposition. And was good at her job and enjoyed our dumb attempts of humor.
I.in fact she invited us to come back hang another time. This experience was definitely worth it And way beats most of the

A long-time favorite in the South Bay. So happy that they're reopened and serving up the same terrific food! The redesign of the diner is a winner.

The food was great, I've been going there for years and so thru ought those years I've tried almost everything by now. Nothing failed to be delicious. The Omelettes, Casadillas, Spaghetti, Chicken and waffles, Hamburgers, nachos, soup, salad ect ect. And my personal favorite is the pho. I know it's an american diner but the owner is Vietnamese and she makes all the broth with her mothers recipe. So the pho is authentic and delicious! Overall one of my favorite diners in San Jose.

A quiet Sunday afternoon. Had a delicious breakfast and server. A little pricey but people hook you up when you treat your waiters like humans, Karens.

Very cute, cozy, Californian American diner. Great menu, deliciously and well prepared food, friendly staff. They are fully renovated, but have great old soul. I am planning to be a frequent visitor! Also, they serve mimosas, beer and wine now.

P.S. My BF ordered a steak rare, and they prepared it perfectly! Which is a rarity for a diner.

Walked in 6/8/25 approximately 11:35 AM, was greeted at the front door by a guy with tattoos on his arms and was told to take a seat anywhere and someone will be with us shortly. Sat down and waited about 5 mins and no one is noticing we’ve taken a seat. My partner goes to grab a menu after waiting a few mins and a group of white people came a few mins after we arrived. A medium length blond haired server sat them immediately when they walked in and takes their drink orders. At this point, we still haven’t been acknowledged. Same server comes back to their table and serves their drinks. After the drinks were served to them, we up and left because clearly no one is assisting us. Thats disrespectful af. Why were we told to take a seat anywhere and a group who comes in a few mins after gets served immediately? Was it because the group was white? Are the servers selectively choosing who they want to serve based off of color? That’s crazy. You can’t even say that they’re short staffed if the server sat a group that came a few mins after us and immediately serves them.

Do what you must with this information as you already have the date and time stamp of when we walked in. So go ahead and check the cameras. We kept looking around to see if anyone was going to assist us.

We came here since it’s been years since my partner has come here and it was cool to know that they reopened. So much for the experience we received.
