Mizu used to be so good and so fun, lively. I'm sure the cost is a factor (cost of running a restaurant, etc) but it seems like the service was marginal, had to call over the servers a few times for drinks and to order more food. The food though, is still delicious. Too bad about the service, used to be one of our favorite places to go.

My business's friend took me for lunch at Mizu.
Overall was good sushi.
It's pretty big restaurant.
If you want to have a big group of party lunch or dinner.
This is a perfect place for it .
Highly recommended!

One of the best sushi restaurants in San Jose. The yellow tail crudo and rainbow roll are my favorites 😍. Service is always good. The complimentary miso soup is great.

The rice is super dry and sweet. Rather than adding, it ruined the sushi.

Had dinner recently after not having been there for a couple of years. I ordered the Unagi lovers sushi. It was very little Unagi in the dish. Everything was fried to a glutenous mass and the flavor was terrible. A big disappointment and probably won’t be repeated in the near future.

The food was not good as expected. The deep fried scallops were tough and dry.

Great place for a business lunch or just time with friends. Sushi is yummy. A great meal everytime but definitely come hungry as the rolls are huge.

Mizu Sushi Bar & Grill offers a vibrant mix of Japanese and Korean cuisine in a stylish, spacious setting. Our family appreciated the variety—fresh sashimi, flavorful bulgogi, and creative specialty rolls all hit the mark. The lunch specials were generous and well-priced, and the ambiance worked well for both younger and older diners. It’s a popular spot, so expect a bit of a wait during peak hours, but the staff do their best to keep things moving.

We found the seating comfortable for our party of five, and the menu had enough flexibility to accommodate dietary preferences. While service was friendly, there were moments where pacing could’ve been smoother. Still, the overall experience was satisfying, and we’d gladly return for another family meal. A solid 4-star spot with potential for 5 if consistency improves during busy times.

Mizu has been around for quite a while. We actually where there on opening day and found it to be a staple for us. We moved out of the area and recently returned back. the food was on point and better than we expected. Service was a little off, not sure why. There was plenty pf help, but no check up for the entire time we were dining. We had to flag down a passing bus boy for assistance and to add to our order, but other than that we were glad that we returned
