Our waitress was awesome. I believe her name was Jeannie. She was friendly and described our food choices so we could make decisions on what to eat The food was amazing (although pricey) the restaurant was busy but very quiet. We will definitely be back

Completely underwhelmed with the restaurant and food offerings. VERY expensive for mediocre unimaginative menu offerings. Food was adequately prepared but similar quality could be had for half the price or less at one of the many brew pubs nearby. couple that with the inadequately lit corner we were seated in because the music was too loud and no birthday treat after spending close to $600! Chain restaurant quality. Go somewhere else!

Service is always excellent. My food was good ( Chicken Christopher, bacon-wrapped scallops ) but my husband said his steak was “ok” ( a lot of gristle on ribeye ). We enjoyed the crème brûlée. Very good! But I miss the old days of ending the night with a chocolate soufflé.

We used to really love going here for a family special events. But this time we all walked away feeling like it was a bit too expensive for the experience you get now. Family of 4 and we spent over $600 with only 1 drink for 3/4 of us as well as a shared dessert for the table. Oh well, I think we are going to hit smaller chains or local places from here on out.

Had a wonderful experience! Started off with a bit of a hiccup as my open table reservation was for the bar however my group was seated in the main dining area. Albeit I was parking the car and was not present during seating to let the host know. However it should have been noted in the reservations. Aside from this the rest of the experience was fantastic. Great atmosphere once we were moved to the bar. My group was looking for a casual start to our evening with drinks and light bites. This is exactly what we got with great service from our bartender/server!

This was our 2nd time here and we absolutely loved everything from the 2 shot espresso latte to the amazing rib eye steak

We were not happy when the steak I ordered came out medium/medium well when I asked for medium rare. We let the waiter know, and he came back telling us the chef said that's how medium rare is supposed to be like we don't know anything about steak. The good thing was the manager heard it and asked to have the steak redone for us. The serivce in the dining area was good, but the host was a bit weird. No smile or a warm welcome at all when we approached the check in area. With the price range they have, I expect better service and quality. The expereice was definitly not the same as the first time I dined at Morton's a number of years ago.

The food was excellent, but our waiter was frequently unavailable and largely inattentive.

Along with the regular hat menu there were two prefix menus--great deal. Service was excellent. The steaks were very tender. My hubby had their new dessert--upside-down apple pie. It's a apple pie layered sundae. He was very pleased (big enough for two).

Fantastic experience for a Sunday evening! We ordered the 14oz dry-aged steak with garlic butter, the au gratin potatoes, and some oysters. Also ordered a bottle of Sequentis Merlot which was fabulous!

The food quality and quantity was overall great with wonderful service, but the food was a bit too salty for my taste.

What a wonderful experience, I would have to say the best I have ever had at San Jose's Mortons Steakhouse. The manager truly did go out of his way to make us feel welcome including introducing us to the Executive Chef. This manager is a true asset to the restaurant and they are very lucky to have him. Needless to say, the service behind the manager was exceptional. The meal was on point as we enjoyed the Miso marinated Sea Bass, Bone in Rib Eye and all of the extras. All were delicious and didn't let us down. As we were finishing our meal we asked why we keep returning back this restaurant time after time, and it was obvious to us, the Service and food are consistently on point and its truly an experience we can always count on. Thank uou to the managment and staff for a wonderful dining experience and we look forward to returning again soon!!

Steaks were ok but sides terrible! Do not order the potato's au gratin! Worst I've ever had. Bring a sweater, it's freezing there.

We've eaten at Morton's all over, as it's a higher end chain with a reliable menu. First, our server was exceptional. Friendly, efficient, she was the best part of the night. Started our meal with delicious , fresh oysters & a crisp chopped salad. Husband ordered a 12 oz filet, med rare. Unfortunately he struggled through it. It was tough, had a burnt taste. Not enjoyable at all. Should have returned it. Very disappointed esp since it was a $68 cut . This is a mixed review. As for value, this meal wasn't a good one..

The food was overly salted and the $136 Tomahawk ordered medium rare came to the table raw- not even rare. We had to send it back but it was not the same after they fired it again. Service is wonderful but quality of food and the over seasoning of it all makes the experience sub par.
