Fantastic experience for a Sunday evening! We ordered the 14oz dry-aged steak with garlic butter, the au gratin potatoes, and some oysters. Also ordered a bottle of Sequentis Merlot which was fabulous!

The food quality and quantity was overall great with wonderful service, but the food was a bit too salty for my taste.

What a wonderful experience, I would have to say the best I have ever had at San Jose's Mortons Steakhouse. The manager truly did go out of his way to make us feel welcome including introducing us to the Executive Chef. This manager is a true asset to the restaurant and they are very lucky to have him. Needless to say, the service behind the manager was exceptional. The meal was on point as we enjoyed the Miso marinated Sea Bass, Bone in Rib Eye and all of the extras. All were delicious and didn't let us down. As we were finishing our meal we asked why we keep returning back this restaurant time after time, and it was obvious to us, the Service and food are consistently on point and its truly an experience we can always count on. Thank uou to the managment and staff for a wonderful dining experience and we look forward to returning again soon!!

Steaks were ok but sides terrible! Do not order the potato's au gratin! Worst I've ever had. Bring a sweater, it's freezing there.

We've eaten at Morton's all over, as it's a higher end chain with a reliable menu. First, our server was exceptional. Friendly, efficient, she was the best part of the night. Started our meal with delicious , fresh oysters & a crisp chopped salad. Husband ordered a 12 oz filet, med rare. Unfortunately he struggled through it. It was tough, had a burnt taste. Not enjoyable at all. Should have returned it. Very disappointed esp since it was a $68 cut . This is a mixed review. As for value, this meal wasn't a good one..

The food was overly salted and the $136 Tomahawk ordered medium rare came to the table raw- not even rare. We had to send it back but it was not the same after they fired it again. Service is wonderful but quality of food and the over seasoning of it all makes the experience sub par.

Honestly, for a very expensive and supposedly high-end steakhouse the food at this location is pretty mediocre. Steaks are OK but definitely not the best. The food is extremely overpriced. The side dishes are even more expensive and extremely small portions. Our waiter definitely had an attitude (not a good one). When we asked about one of the foods that's was 5-10 late while others were on the fable he angrily said “I only have 2 hands”. very awkward & kinda rude. will probably not eat at this establishment anymore - way overrated..... Go to Mastro's for great steaks and much better service & probably cheaper price.... Just my 2 cents..

Our server made our experience very memorable. If I would have any complaints it is probably the lighting, it is a bit dark for my taste. Overall, amazing!

Disappointed! Average service! Not sure what the rush was, but our food arrived before we were done with our salads!

Food was awful, everything was cold and like it had been sitting out for an hour. Do not recommend.

It was kind of disappointing. Maybe it was us or because we arrived after 8 PM. From the food to the service, everything was off. The food was left under the heat lamp so long that the steaks were dry. the au gratin potatoes needed to be chiseled out of the serving pan. We've been there before and loved it. This time, we made a special trip to San Jose just to go to Mortons. We'll try it again, probably. Maybe it was just an off night for the restaurant, but at their prices, they should not have nights.

Great service and as always great food.. Wait staff is there to serve but not overly intrusive. Good selection of cocktails and wine.

This is our favorite restaurant in SJ.We always get the filet mignon and add cognac sauce with mushrooms. The new location is classy, huge and parking was easy to find on the street. The service is always top notch too.

We had high hopes for our visit to Morton's in San Jose, especially since we were in town for a memorable evening and were celebrating my husband's birthday. Unfortunately, the experience left us very underwhelmed. Right from the start, our table was covered in spilled water. No one offered to move us or change the table, and my arm remained wet throughout much of the evening — not exactly the setting you expect from a steakhouse of this caliber. The service was mediocre at best. Our server was not very knowledgeable about the menu and offered little guidance or enthusiasm. We also mentioned that our table was in a cold draft, but the front staff seemed uninterested in addressing the issue. We had noted in advance that it was my husband's birthday, and while the server acknowledged it, absolutely nothing was done to make the occasion feel special, not even a simple "happy birthday" gesture. This lack of attention to detail stood out, especially compared to other upscale dining experiences. The food was disappointingly average. The lobster mac and cheese had exactly one piece of lobster, the ahi tuna lacked flavor and finesse, the steak was just okay (not memorable), and the scalloped potatoes were bland and under-seasoned. Parking was also a hassle, which added to the stress of the evening. While Morton's isn't on the level of Applebee's or Chili's, it certainly didn't deliver an upscale or memorable dining experience. Sadly, we wouldn't return or recommend it.

Celebrating two birthdays and the recovery from liver cancer. Perfect evening. We were welcomed and remembered by the staff from our visit last year. Last year my daughter said that "this was the best steak I have ever had". This year she said it again. Jennifer and the rest of the staff made for a remarkable evening. Thank you.
