Fantastic experience for a Sunday evening! We ordered the 14oz dry-aged steak with garlic butter, the au gratin potatoes, and some oysters. Also ordered a bottle of Sequentis Merlot which was fabulous!
What a wonderful experience, I would have to say the best I have ever had at San Jose's Mortons Steakhouse. The manager truly did go out of his way to make us feel welcome including introducing us to the Executive Chef. This manager is a true asset to the restaurant and they are very lucky to have him. We've eaten at Morton's all over, as it's a higher end chain with a reliable menu. First, our server was exceptional. Friendly, efficient, she was the best part of the night. Started our meal with delicious , fresh oysters & a crisp chopped salad. Husband ordered a 12 oz filet, med rare. Unfortunately he struggled through it. It was tough, had a burnt taste.
