Wow, this was a trip down memory lane. Last time I was at Mr. Chau was years ago. I found this place again by accident while doing some research. I decided to go today got myself a simple, two entrée dish. Chow mein, five spice chicken and some salad. I think it was about 14 bucks. It was exactly how I remember not pretending to be anything else other than decent Chinese fast food. The place was clean. The person behind the counter was super friendly, food was strangely satisfying. There were quite a few people sitting inside the dining room. It was easy to park. It was just good enough for me to want to go back again. Well done.

The food is good. They serve you alot. Different tastes of chicken. From house to honey and orange chicken. My personal favorite is BBQ ribs and honey chicken. Good service. Hot plates, and cold fountain drinks.

First time visit and the service was bad. They didn’t have much of a good selection like we saw online. Everything looked the same. However, that’s not the only disappointment we experienced there. The lady serving us didn’t even speak English, she kept asking to us questions in Spanish while we kept answering her in English, I don’t speak Spanish. She made a mistake by giving us chowmein when my man asked for beef broccoli, then she got annoyed and said, he didn’t ask for that (in Spanish). This place is ran by all Latin’s so I’m curious to know if this even authentic Chinese restaurant or is it Chinese food made by Latino’s?? Haha! Will not be returning. I spent $40 at this place and the food wasn’t good, should have just gone to Panda instead. Same quality, and same taste… fake!

i went to mr. chaus almost once a week for years living in san jo.....moved to modesto and go everytime im in san jo!! great service, great price but most important great fooooood.....its allll good!!
