Just had to take time to write about this hidden gem. So few places make donuts like these anymore! See how big and fat and fresh?! This is pretty much the only place I buy donuts anymore. Staff are very friendly and helpful as well. Oh, and they also have fresh croissants and croissant sandwiches.... and easy parking.

I recently visited O. Henry Donuts in San Jose, California, and my experience was unfortunately less than stellar. While I had high hopes for some delicious treats, I found the quality of the food to be quite amateur at best. The donuts lacked the freshness and refinement you’d expect from a dedicated donut shop, leaving me feeling disappointed.
What stood out even more than the underwhelming food was the attitude of the owner. I encountered a level of rudeness that was shocking; it's the little things that matter, and refusing to let a dollar slide for a loyal customer felt excessively petty. It's a shame because community support is crucial for local businesses.
Additionally, the environment left much to be desired. There were many homeless individuals in the area, contributing to an overall feeling of neglect and discomfort. It’s tough to enjoy your treats fully when the surrounding atmosphere feels unwelcoming.
All in all, my visit to O. Henry Donuts was far from enjoyable. Between the lackluster food, unkind customer service, and an unpleasant environment, I’m afraid I won’t be returning anytime soon. This establishment has some serious room for improvement.

This place reeks of neglect and unhappy workers. Being around donuts all day must be draining as the employees have no smiles and no energy. Or perhaps it's time for a change in upper management.

The place is super bomb
Very grab and go and small compared to other Henry’s. Got there at 3, so only had 4 donuts left (understandable), but then lady said there was a $5 credit card min… really? When you have 4 donuts left?
Friendly and clean
