Brought a couple of friends here to all have our first Irish coffee and man this place made our trip from LA worth it. Delicious drinks and amazing service from the bartender she was very friendly and made amazing drinks. The selection is incredibly wide from their well Bourbon Buffalo track to Pappy van Winkle wow.

BEN IS THE WORST BARTENDER, do not under any circumstances be served by this man. I am extremely disappointed by the awful customer service I received from this bartender. When I came into this bar, there were only roughly 10 people inside and barely any wait time to get to the bartender. However the minute I sat down at the counter, the bartender Ben aggressively and rudely demanded my ID. I had no interaction previous with this man and was extremely shocked and appalled to receive such undeserved treatment. He then proceeded to speak to me and many others around me in a demeaning and belittling manner until I decided not to order from this man and to leave the bar on my own. This is shameful behavior from a bartender and business that has had such a long history in San Jose and disappointing to know this bartender continuously treats so many others so poorly

Came in on a Saturday afternoon around 5:30pm with a group of friends, it’s our first stop and first time here thinking it’d be a great place to start off a birthday weekend. Completely wrong. The bartender asked for our ID’s and said to us “let’s act like we’ve been to a bar before people.” He was very sarcastic and condescending with us, he mentioned that he wanted us to hurry up cus another group of friends showed up. There 15 people MAX in the bar. I asked for his name and he replied with “that’s not the priority, we’ll get to that.” So we let him finish what he has to do so his brain isn’t scattered. Even after pouring our drinks he REFUSED to tell me his name. Come to find out from one of his coworkers his name is Ben. I hope if you decide to come here you do not get Ben as a bartender cus he seems to get overwhelmed serving a bar that’s half empty and chooses to make customers feel uncomfortable when he can’t control his stress levels.

I do 5 stars often but it’s truly deserving!! There wings were so crunchy, they gave us suave on the side and it was so nice dipping it in ourselves!! We also have the basketball game to watch in a nice environment. You could definitely catch me out here after a hard days at work just unwinding with a nice cocktail and chicken wings

We stopped in for dinner and drinks before a Sharks game on a Thursday, it was not too busy sitting on the patio. Apparently they have a limited menu on game days, so we couldn't try the corned beef tacos. We got the Irish fries to share (yummy!), I got the burger (actually very delicious and juicy), and my friend got the chicken wings plate (she said they were pretty good). Lots of cider options, we both enjoyed the ones we got. The waitresses were very friendly and attentive. We'll be back next time we are in DT San Jose!

I went last night for the Halloween bar crawl with a group of friends. This place was sharing the bathroom with two other bars and the lines were super long. I ended up going into the men’s because I was about to pee my pants. After this we got kicked out by the security staff. My group was compliant and we were exiting the bar. One of the security kept rushing me and telling me to chug my drink. I said that I would wait by the door to finish. He proceeded to shove me so hard that I hit the floor with all the drink all over me. My leg is all bruised and my ankle is sprained from the way he pushed me. When asked to speak to the manager they didn’t bring anyone out. Everyone in the crowd was so surprised too by the way he shoved me to the floor. I saw some other reviews talking about the security staff as well. I’ve never been treated with so much disrespect and force like this guy did. Who shoves a girl to the floor!? It was a bald Asian guy that didn’t even show face after he pushed me.
