The food here is cheap and plentiful, and you certainly get what you pay for. I got a mountain of Chicken katsu with my order, but it was very greasy and the quality of the chicken was very low. The sides were OK but it was extremely heavy. I'm not sure why this place has good reviews, maybe I got the wrong thing, but I was certainly not impressed.

Have been here a few times. Good Hawaiian BBQ grill, good price, big portion. The location is rather small, good for takeout or pickup.

Overall the portion sizes & food was amazing! The loco moco & gravy was delicious, heavy plate too! & the garlic shrimp was so delicious. Definitely a step up from L&L and don't miss out on the Hawaiian Donuts!?❤️?
Plus they hooked me up with free gravy!?
Great visit??
I'll post some pics of what I got!(:

1st time & enjoyed the food at this spot. We drove by a few weeks back and had to come and try it out. I came here hungry. Ordered chicken musubi and short rib combo plate. Katsu sauce reminds me of L&L, which I like compared to other places. Family also ordered the bbq beef, chicken and a katsu musubi. Great portion size. Reasonable pricing. Looking forward to trying other menu items next time.

I been coming here from the start, a bit pricey but it’s still good food. When the restaurant first open everything was cool, the owners were happy to help, because I love Hawaiian food, and they seem hella cool, I became a regular. I would come for at 10am when they opened. They started doing a stamp card, and at first I was able to use it for my favorite Loco Moco; but now they won’t let me do that. I ask talked to the owner for a bit but she seemed like she didn’t really care much about me always being a loyal customer and refused to redeem my stamp card for that Loco moco that she used to redeem when I would go there. I’m cool if this place. I usually would go the mahalo Hawaii BBQ on the south side of San Jose, they beef patty thicker and the quality of the meat is way better. I grew up in that area and would go there after the gym—its a cool spot and the owners super chill to, they always super nice when I see them.

Parking: It gets super busy because of the new market there it’s hard to find parking unless u wanna park on the side where’s there’s a homeless encampment seem about 15-20 different homeless people there doing funny things.

Great option for quick, tasty Hawaiian food.

I was in the area looking for something fast, good, and in a safe area. We stumbled upon this hidden gem and decided to try it out.

We were skeptical at first because the exterior was very unassuming and seemed run down, however we were pleasantly surprised by the many delectable options that this restaurant had to offer. I personally chose the chicken katsu which was amazing. I highly recommend choosing this place if you enjoy Hawaiian food.

I love this place!! One of my favorite Hawaiian BBQ spots. I am reviewing because I need everyone to know how good it is so more people go and keep them in business because I never want them to leave haha. I got the garlic shrimp combo with garlic chicken and it’s one of the few things I actually crave and think about in my free time. The chicken and shrimp are so crispy and garlicky and the mac salad makes me dream about it when I’m done eating. This food makes me happy (:

Food: Had the Loco Moco and well, it tasted very similar to the other Hawaiian BBQ chains, and as someone who loves Loco Moco, it was a let down.

Atmosphere: There was good music which fits the Hawaiian vibes. The place looked clean.

I love this place, the food is always fresh, they don't burn the chicken katsu (l&l always does) and they have a buy ten get onto free deal.
