Olives Greek Cafe Reviews

These guys are pretty good! It's a greek cafe, but the kabobs are more of a Persian style. I got a kufte kabob rice plate (which is basically chelo-kabob). The meat was nicely flavored and the rice was soft and fluffy. I even got a grilled tomato with it, which is a standard Persian side for your rice and meat. Not a lot more to say. It's pretty straightforward, the man working the counter was very pleasant and nice, and I enjoyed my meal.

I ordered from them on Uber Eats and loved the food so much I came online to look up the restaurant further. I'm pretty shocked to see the low ratings on Yelp, so I thought I'd share my Uber Eats experience. I got the kufta kabob plate and lemon chicken soup. The kabob was great and paired well with this awesome (homemade?) hot sauce and tzaziki. The pitas were warmed up too, which some places don't do. Maybe the restaurant experience isn't as great but I enjoyed it for takeout!

This cafe serves up good middle eastern fare. I can't say they serve the best gyros I've ever tasted, but they're flavorful and the portion size is larger than some other places I've been. There's a decent number of tables for dining at the cafe. They also do takeout. They serve Coca-Cola branded soft drinks. A lunch special with gyro, fries and a soda runs about $12, tax included.
