Stopped by for lunch on a Saturday morning right before noon. .

I have been eating masala dosa since 2000 at Vik's in Berkeley. This place has dosas which are pretty good.

My dosa was not as crispy as I liked. But perhaps they were having an off morning. They were just starting their day as there was no one else eating at the restaurant when we arrived.

Although the ambience and service is pretty much non existent, I can't judge this place based on that. It's a small shop/restaurant - few sitting spots but you get very good south indian food. I tried simple idly, some of their drinks such as Chai and Almond Rose Chia drink - all of them were good. Idlys were really great. Disappointed with Sambhar.

I committed the crime of ordering paneer dosa but they did a great job! It's definitely not paneer tikka but rather bhurji. Sambar could be punchier and chutneys were tiny. Will come back for masala dosa and ghee idli!
