Not sure why, but food continues to disappoint at this location. It's not bad, but maybe underwhelming. Prefer Orens Hummus hands down.

The lemon chicken orzo was bland, chicken dry and tough. Wait staff is pleasant but needs training on how to not make people feel rushed.

Went for dinner last and it was surprisingly not busy for a Friday. Usually that would mean top notch service for our party of 8, or one could assume.

We were celebrating a friend’s birthday and had made a reservation ahead of time. The food and ambience was mostly enjoyable but that changed towards end of our meal . At 8:40pm they brought the cake(purchased elsewhere but they held in the back for us)out and said we close at 9pm. It would have been nice if they told us around 8:30 or earlier “hey our kitchen is closing do you need anything else and we will be bringing the cake out for you.

We could tell they were eager for us to leave , which is odd given emptiness around us. Usually the rushing is when they need to seat the next party in my experience.

We did eat our cake inside and then stepped outside and sat at the tables there for a bit. I feel they would have preferred us to leave but we convinced them to let us us sit and we would make sure gate is closed etc and they agreed luckily.

The food is good but not extraordinary in my opinion. For example, I have other places in mind for better falafel pita. But I love their fries, dips and salad. The haloumi and heirloom tomato is favorite item as is the dip sampler. The dolma was surprisingly dry this time, either the rice was old or they messed up water ratio in cooking. Way too dry and chewy.

Vegetarian options: Not a ton entrees for vegetarian but plenty of small plates, salads that could be a main.

Opa Willow Glen has steadily declined. This was my third visit in three months on a Friday night, and once again, the restaurant was empty. We had an 8-person reservation for 7 p.m., and aside from us, there were no other diners until we left at 8:35 p.m. Shockingly, the server handed us the check at 8:35, telling us to pay and leave because they were closing—despite the sign clearly stating they are open until 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. We were there for a birthday, but the server just dropped the cake on the table, offered no help with candles or cutting, and hurried us to pack leftovers. Boxes were placed in front of us with repeated instructions to hurry. When we went outside to sit at the empty tables, the server came out and told us we couldn't stay there either. This isn't an isolated incident. All three visits since August 2024 have had the same experience—an empty restaurant, no atmosphere, and poor service. Once a lively spot, Opa Willow Glen now feels lifeless, with no music, no patrons, and staff who treat the few customers left with impatience. There was no queue for uber eats or doordash orders so not like this restaurant is making any money with online orders. I wonder how they plan to stay afloat with limited hours & awful service behavior.

I had been to this place for lunch during a weekday. The place is very vibrant with a beautiful outdoor sitting. Service was quick. Food was delicious.

Service was almost non existent at times. Two servers, only five tables. I had to get up twice to get waiters attention while he was on his cell phone

We are locals to this location and continuously have bad experiences. We generally like the food at Opa but the service is awful. I don't know if they're under staffed or what but we are regularly turned away for a small table when they're less than half full and when we do get seated they are slow and orders are messed up.
I'd recommend going elsewhere, it's a shame

Try their brunch menu. It’s surprisingly good.

Walked in and the manger greeted us and sat us down. The waiter was attentive and the service was amazing. Food was great along with the Sangria.

This is the first time, I didn’t bother to take pictures of all the things that are wrong with a business. From the old, outdated decor and furniture to the terrible slow service between two waiters and everything in between, I couldn’t help but think that the owner(s) of this restaurant is just tired of running the business. Absolutely disappointed in the quality of food, service and how dirty and worn out everything was. Don’t order the meatloaf. It took us three requests for the waiters to refill our iced tea. What a waste of great space.
