Ordered from them hummus and dips for 10 persons and there were some issues with it:Its difficult to get hold of them over the phone .Once I did : the guy over the phone was nice and patient with me.He promised me receipt over the email but it never came...When My wife went to pickup the order we've got a really big portion of hummus - would be enough for 20 people I guess, and a really small plate of dips and salads - maybe like ok for 3-4 people.Hummus was ?
Picked up catering here for a large family dinner - easy process and Oren's hummus is always DELICIOUS. The food was more than enough and everyone loved it. The hummus and falafel are the best, pita bread is fresh, and all the toppings/sauces are delicious.
Lot of choices of hummus and pita dishes. I ordered the Hummus Eggplant ? that's so fresh and creamy. There are flavorful chunky eggplant, stewed tomatoes and garlic come with it. They have large outdoor sitting areas and is great for close friends and small family to gather during this pandemics time.
I had walked past Oren's Hummus countless times, thinking that it might be good to check out their hummus selection some time. When we learned that the place also offers a lunch menu, we decided to try it out, thinking it would be a healthy option. Our thoughts: the sweet potato fries are soggy. I get it, in the pandemic, things are not as fresh as they could be. So we'll let it pass. The rice bowls: the first impression on the chicken was great, but by the second bite it was obvious the bowl was greasy, heavy and frankly not possible to eat the whole bowl because it would put us to sleep. Considering everything, it was also rather bland. Yes, they offers a few sauces to spice things up, but why do we need to add really spicy sauces to generate flavor? It's a nice looking establishment, but the food had much to desire.
We always enjoy eating at Oren's. The options are good, the vibe is contemporary and welcoming. Good place for lunch or dinner. Good portion sizes are nice as well. I like the beef hummus. It's ground beef and really tasty and filling. I actually haven't had a bad dish here yet. Casual dining and walk-ins are ok.
After being misled by a nearby lazy restaurant on how long our wait would be (had a Planetarium show to see) us six finally left, then got seated at once at Oren's Hummus. Marcel, our host & waiter, was attentive, efficient, friendly, and appreciated. Food was fine; we shall return.
My son and I shared two dishes. The cauliflower hummus and chicken kabob. The kabob comes with two sides. We chose the beets and the fried eggplant. It was all delicious. A little pricey, but there was a lot of food. We spent 45 dollars for both of us. Part of that was the $5 fresh lemonade (but it was delicious). However, even sharing, we brought home enough for 2 more meals. So, given that, the price was actually reasonable. Next time, I would just order one hummus or one kabob. Not both. The atmosphere is nice. There is a wonderful porch that is covered with lots of light. The service was good. Not amazing. But not bad. The ingredients were very high quality. I’m glad we went and would visit again.
The firs one in PA was awesome the second one was still OK but I guess as soon as they started opening more restaurants the quality was the first to suffer. It used to be a 5 star great place not it's barely average.
best hummus ever
Located in a lovely outdoor multi use shopping area, the restaurant is bright and airy and as both sit down and take out service (take out is ordered adjacent to the dining room). The menu looked great and my expectations were high. The sides dishes (beet salad, carrots, cucumber salad) were excellent and the hummus was good. The chicken was a bit overcooked though. Perhaps I was just unlucky that day, because if the chicken had matched the quality of the other items, I would have really enjoyed the meal.

We ordered classic and Jaffa style hummus with other mains like rice bowl, pizza pita bread, fries. Overall, I'm ok with the food and service. Rice bowl portion is very good, coz they're a lot. The location is nice, surrounded by Target, desserts choices.
This is the prettiest of the 3 locations and has both an outside patio & inside dining area. Service is very friendly and helpful. The complimentary carrot and cabbage vinegar slaw is delicious, as is the hummus, served in a variety of ways. The chicken schnitzel consists of 2 pieces of very thinly pounded chicken breast meat covered in a very dry Panko type breading. The chicken was so dry that I couldn’t eat it. The sweet potatoes mash was delicious but served lukewarm. Dijon mustard really didn’t belong on the plate and the string beans were nothing special. Next time I’ll stick to the hummus and perhaps try a skewer.
They serve a wide variety of hummus and other similar dips with eggplant. We tried several and all of them were very good! The server was very friendly, helpful and efficient. The restaurant is nicely decorated and has plenty of seating. We will definitely return.
