A pillar of this area; Orient Express has provided through good & difficult times. Fantastic food & solid service. A must!

Hooks it up when it comes to take outs. The owners generous, and a good older Asian couple. Their price is unbeatable. Almost as if we're in the 2010s, their price match their portion

The chowmein is the only thing that I liked. The restaurant looks very dirty I wanted to leave before even ordering because of how dirty it looked. The food isn't good

This place is FILTHY! i used to come here about 2 times a month back in 2007, and i don't remember it being so filthy. I walked in today and nearly instantly walked back out after seeing all the filth.. even the tables and chairs are full of filth with gunk build up. I nearly had an anxiety attack from seeing all the filth in the few seconds I was in there.. Couldn't believe it.

It is one of the best Chinese food places and on a plate of 3 options they serve you as if 2 to 3 people were going to eat.

Now don’t let the Atmosphere fool you this place is a gem hidden. This establishment is also a mom and pops so yea they can use the funds to upgrade but it gets the food done and to your plate. I honestly will be back for more. The portions are great for the price and also try the egg rolls they are pretty fulfilling.

IMHOWe were searching for another Chinese take-out place that offers party trays, after our favorite closed. We've lived on the eastside for over 40 years but had never been to Orient Express, which has been here for 30 plus years. It was a tad dark when we first walked in, and the lady behind the counter seemed slightly startled when she saw us. We asked her a few questions about party trays and if there was a paper menu to hand out. No paper menus, unfortunately. She showed us the two sized trays available but didn't tell us any prices. We decided to order a lunch box of two items and choice of chow Mein, or fried rice for $9.99 plus tax. Our food choices were the chow mein, garlic chicken w/ veggies, and Peking spareribs. They give generous portions, and I weighed the box when I got home. It weighed a whopping 2 lb. 5 oz.!!!I only wish they had a larger menu choice for their party trays. They don't offer my favorites of salt & pepper chicken, or salt & pepper pork, crispy fish, etc. Will we return? Sure. The price is right for quantity portion. (Cash only.)

They do not make their food fresh. They make everything all at once and have it sitting there all day instead of making it fresh once whatever is done is done. There will be like 4 trays of chowmein just sitting there. You could tell the meat is leftover from the previous day because it is hard. The old lady handles the food and cash with the same gloves on. I used to come here twice a month maybe 3 times. They close at 9 but stop making anything IF they make anything at all around 7. Too bad they don't make their food fresh like at panda express because if they did, it would be great....
