The only reason I ever visit this ramen spot is because it's walking distance to me. The ramen is just okay, the broth is decent but not amazing and the noodles aren't fresh. However the ramen this time was bad. The meat was tough and barely edible and the egg was hardboiled instead of soft. For a $15 price, basically any other ramen location in the area is better.

Ordered the spicy miso pork ramen. Not too spicy and surprisingly semi sweet. Definitely fulfilling. Had a side of California rolls. Yum. Located downtown so lots of places to do after having dinner and some sake.

Fairly unimpressed. Not nearly as much black garlic oil as I was expecting after viewing pictures from other reviews. Broth flavor wasn’t anything extraordinary. Pork chashu was incredibly tough, an issue I’ve never had at any other ramen spot. The soft boiled egg was not soft boiled. I’m not from the area, but I’d imagine there are better ramen places nearby.

this place is literally so good, came in skeptical after a long day of skating and biking. Hit so hard. Customer service was amazing, food came out hot and perfectly cooked. Definitely coming back here again tomorrow.

They food prices goes up a lot since last year 30%. The menu online isn’t correct. The dish is getting smaller as well. So the restaurant is getting worse.

Great prices and pretty solid nigiri. Will definitely be going back often. Very nice staff as well.

Black tonkotsu was great and rich in broth, but the egg wasn't as runny as I want it to be. Wait was short, line can be long during events like cons. The chicken karaage was good and same for the takoyaki. Good choice to get ramen, but hoping to try sushi when they offer it.

My first time coming here and wiith 15min to closing they would not allow us to sit and eat in an empty restaurant.

High quality broth! I got the tonkatsu ramen and some gyoza. The rice bowls looked good but I can’t resist good ramen. Staff was very friendly. Popular on a Saturday night but quick service and plenty of seating

- Black Tonkotsu Ramen: The soft boiled egg was cooked perfectly, and the chashu was fatty so it melted in my mouth easily. The broth was flavorful but the broth didn't stick to the noodles well, and the noodles didn't have the right texture I was looking for. - Shoyu Ramen: The broth was light, and not too salty. The toppings on the ramen were great just like the Black Tonkotsu Ramen. - Salmon Nigiri (10 pc): The salmon was slightly fishy, but for the price; you can't really beat that.

I was so pleasantly surprised with this place. The ramen broth is rich and the portions are filling. It's better than anything you can find in Japan town. The rice bowls are very good too!

A cozy little Japanese eatery where the food isn't particularly outstanding, but nothing is disappointing either. All of the tastes are unsurprising, expected, and comforting, making this a safe pick for simple Japanese dishes.

Love this place. Amazing rice bowls. Sushi is great as well. A bit pricey but a downtown location is the culprit.
