Server was flighty and never around but restaurant had only 3 total tables most of the dinner and we were our servers only table. Front staff was nice, even manager checked on table so may be isolated incident. But left a bad taste none the less. Our appetizer the hanabi was tasty and fresh. But the sushi rice on the dragon crunch roll was chewy, gummy, overcooked and dry. It was super tiny and left a strange after taste that we could not pinpoint from the ingredients. We got this roll since it seemed one of the most popular items on the different social sites so this was disappointing. Cucumber and seaweed salad had very little flavor nothing really to say positive or negative otherwise as it was very basic and bland ingredients though nothing seemed old. It just wasn't prepared well. Last was the porkbelly butabara. Both pieces were charred heavy on 1 side. Seemed like hiding a major flaw in cooking and serving it anyway. All these things could have been isolated incidents. But to many poor marks to want to revisit the location. These are only my opinion as a 30 year career chef.

Impeccable food, service and vibe. Diego and team helped with some great vegetarian customizations , and the cocktails (Negroni and the Old fashioned)were spot on. My personal favorite was the Hitokuchi !

Excellent service by the staff! Food was absolutely below average in flavor and value for money.

Great service. Great ambiance. I would never order what I ordered again: garlic edamame, nigiri salmon, nigiri Kobe beef and spicy tuna roll. Just not fresh tasting. And now that I've ordered garlic edamame, I know I prefer a classic steamed edamame. The garlic was just a little too roasted and I didn't think paired well with the edamame flavor.

Parking was a nightmare on Friday evening, the hotel next door didn't want to do valet if you were not a guest and it took 25 minutes to find a spot in a garage and walk to the restaurant.

Not the best, not the worst. It's not a place I'll remember after this review. Average rolls, but the real sushi was fantastic. It was overall mid tier at a high price point. There are many may many better sushi spots in town.

Ozumo has excellent food, service and ambiance. The noise level is a problem at times, and the fact that people around the nearby bar are shouting their delight or displeasure as the TV projects some game, causes further annoyance. But overall Ozumo is a delightful experience, and I'll go back again.

We haven't been here in probably a decade (since it was Blowfish!) We had a great date night here. Very friends and fast service (I think it helped that our table was right next to the bar: we ordered a drink and they walked over and poured it right away!) Food was good. We aren't sushi experts, but we generally enjoyed it. Although it wasn't cheap, it really wasn't too bad compared to restaurants around it, and certainly when considering the atmosphere compared to other cheaper sushi places. We will definitely go back.

Great tasting food and excellent service. Lots of options from small plates to large plates. We really enjoyed everything.

I haven’t written a review for a restaurant in years but the food was so bad I had to write a review. We got two rolls for takeout & it wasn’t just mediocre - it was BAD. highly disappointed. I have no idea where the positive reviews came from.

Fresh and tasty sushi with great presentation.
Quality is top-notch, but a bit on the pricey side.
Still worth it for a treat!

Good was good, there still room for improvement. E. G Brocolini was underwhelming, it was ok ok, chewy and old. Tofu, tempura, rolls, were all decent and flavorful.

The food was fantastic! Garlic edamame was delicious. I had the shinsen zero-proof cocktail, which was phenomenal as well as the sake hand roll and tonkatsu ramen, all of which were wonderful. We ate on the patio, which was a much more comfortable volume than the inside of the restaurant (except for the occasional overly-enthusiastic motorcyclist gunning their motor as they drove by). My dad had the black cod, which was cooked perfectly, but the pairing of the spiced onions overwhelmed the fish a bit. My husband had the salmon, which he loved. We ended with the choco chan, which was like a lava cake, but filled with a warm matcha filling instead of gooey chocolate— a lovely complement to the chocolatey cake and vanilla ice cream. Would definitely go return next time I'm in the area.
