Went to Palermo Italian Restaurant with my best friend for the first time recently, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! Atmosphere was quaint and cozy, the food… phenomenal! Our server Lucia (hopefully I got spelling right, lovely Brazilian girl) was so attentive and informative, it really made us feel special. I would highly recommend Palermo’s and I will definitely go back whenever I am in San Jose.Parking: Street parking is a little tight but they have two overflow parking lots. One directly across the street and the other a little further down, about a 3-5 minute walk.

Overall pretty good. The salmon was a generous portion and the pasta was really tasty. The service was plentiful and we were checked in on frequently. Staff seemed to genuinely care if we were satisfied with our experience. Only con is the space is very wide open and there was a loud and discourteous table near us.

We loved our visit to Palermo’s! The best part is that they have an extensive vegan menu, with vegan pizza and pasta dishes. Even eggplant parm! They have a huge amount of seating, including space for large groups. Great venue for wedding rehearsal or welcome dinner.

Super spot. So lucky to have found this gem just around my neighbourhood. It has become our favourite date night or 'I don't feel like cooking' joint. They cook the pizza to perfection, well done and crisp, with a pungent olive oil taste present in the dough; even when reheated the next day! I absolutely love their pesto. The staff is very cordial, and they really sell the 'Sicilian' experience. Attention to details = amazing, they put out mini personal fireplaces by the tables. So cozy. Love it.Vegetarian options: They are able to accommodate for vegetarians. The pesto gnocchi and vegetable pizza are super!Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp and a private party room.

Our first time at Palermo. A wonderful fantastico experience. Their food is authentic Italian, and so delicious. Taste like mamas homemade cooking. The best part is the service. It was very attentive, fast and super friendly big shout out to DAVIS. He’s the best. Gracie! SALUTE!!

We had high expectations based on reviews, but these were unfortunately not met.The initial bread was hard,Soup was ok,The bruschetta was also plain hard bread with tomatoes,And the pasta we had (2 different types) underwhelming.I hate to write not positive reviews, but we go to Italian restaurants often, and I was expecting more.I guess others might have different experiences, and hope ours was an exception.The atmosphere was nice, as was the service.

Palermo is our go-to restaurant in town. The down-home Italian cuisine is reliably excellent, well-prepared and delicious. The service is superb, efficient and hospitable. This family-owned restaurant is great for large crowds or intimate dinners. We come here often, and frequently bring our out-of-town guests. I can honestly say that we have never had anything less than an excellent experience here.
