Ordered the palmetto, 16oz looked nothing like what's advertised and filled only half way. Pros: flavor was delicious.

These are some of the best smoothie bowls I’ve ever had, and easily the best in the bay, but the wait for bowls is getting ridiculous. I ordered 30 min in advance then drove over and still had to wait another 30 minutes for my bowl. I really hope they open up more locations soon or hire more staff because it didn’t use to be like this and isn’t really worth the wait anymore. Or let the staff turn off online orders if it’s this bad.

The wait is absolutely ridiculous. We waited around 45 minutes just for two smoothies. There were four people working, but they all moved incredibly slow and were frustrated by the online orders.

If you’re looking for a job where you can hang out with your friends, work as slowly as possible, and let customers wait forever, congrats! you’ve found your ideal workplace!

Do yourself a favor and order at least an hour early. Maybe two, just to be safe👌🏼

I love Palmetto and how their smoothies and açaí bowls are top-notch thanks to their fresh ingredients!
This location’s building is very small, only containing the staff’s workspace and a kiosk to help me view and customize my options.
Other than that, I think there should be more kiosks since lines become lengthy with the one.
I suggest using the kiosk to maximize your preferences in açaí/smoothie bases, toppings, and fruits. This way, whatever you get will taste PERFECT according to you!!

I HIGHLY recommend!

Food takes a while and is not worth the wait.

Possibly the best açaí place in San Jose. I really like their smoothies, order online for a faster check out. Just be sure any additional add-ons you select for your smoothies are actually put in. I noticed the protein I added wasn’t in my smoothie (I frequent here so it was noticeable)

It took almost 50 minutes our two small bowls get ready, very frustrating. We had to go somewhere and my girls couldn’t wait any longer!!

The wait takes forever, 20-30 minutes. Tried to come in around 1:30 today on a Tuesday and the wait was going to be 40 minutes for in store order 🙄😑

Ordered at wrong location the staffs were so friendly and kind to help me resolve the issue. Delicious Açaí base and wide selection of toppings. Highly recommend!

Food tastes really good, and portions are decent for the price. However, the rewards system is honestly pretty bad. 1 point for every dollar means I need to spend 250 dollars for just 1 free medium bowl. Of course it’s nice they even have a rewards system but that seems a bit steep.

Waste of time. Staff unfriendly and intentionally don’t make eye contact or answer questions.
Ordering is so frustrating and inconvenient with only one ipad to order in store.
I will never come here again based on the service and staff

Extremely disappointing service. I ordered online through the website with the confirmation and everything. I showed up and the worker kept on delaying the order and needed up refunding the order because they could not make it. I waited 40 minutes for absolutely nothing. The workers were extremely rude. As a once loyal customer to palmetto I will not be returning. It is bad business to deceive a customer into thinking that they will be receiving an order, making them continue to wait for an extended time, and then it even compensating the order but refunding it. 40 minutes of my time wasted. Very disappointing

Tldr; I wouldn't pay for this at regular prices, but I am now more motivated to create my own bowls occasionally ?
I used my DoorDash discount codes to try some bowls and smoothies. I'm definitely not a supplement/health smoothie type, and I feel like I doubled my vocabulary just by reading through the ingredient options (while also low-key fearing for my life upon consumption), like tropical spirulina, activated charcoal, lions mane powder, etc. I was a fan of the build my own bowl option, and I liked the cacao nibs, coffee granola, mulberries, goji berries, and fruits as toppings, while I would pick mango, matcha, and maybe pitaya dragonfruit as my top three bases. I'm honestly not sure how "healthy" the bases are, since the matcha one literally was like matcha ice cream and the mango one was like a mango smoothie, but I can't deny that they tasted pretty good. All smoothies I got (avocado matcha love, activated charcoal, and tropical spirulina) had a vague banana taste to them (the acai base for the bowls also had a banana taste), which I didn't appreciate as someone who doesn't like bananas. The charcoal one also had a more sour, yogurt-y taste to it too.
